Maybe the other first comes from a 3rd team who’s trading for buddy. i doubt it since buddy should not be commanding a first rd pick but I ain’t putting nothing past this nba era lol

I’m not but I’m sure there’s a lot of players Trae wants to play with. Whether or not they are a fit should be left up to the coaching staff and front office but I get your point about stars pressure in todays game is clearly different than in the past. by no means am I saying Trae doesn’t deserve any blame.

What do you think about the deal personally? good, average, bad…what’s your opinion?

I’m not sure if this is a slight towards Trae or not because it sounds like you’re saying Luka was the last star we drafted and Trae isn’t one….if that’s the case we don’t see eye to eye which is fine. Trae is definitely a superstar whether hawk fans like him or not. He’s easily our best talent since Nique. The issue with the Trae era is that it started out with a plan (a good one at that)…but the plan changed due to the FO not trae. All Trae asked for was to win …he ain’t say how he just said I want to win. The FO and then owner went out their way to make bad deals on top of bad deals. Traes only true blame is that he told a terrible and extremely incapable FO that he wants to “win now”…..and here are the results.

I don’t disagree. Kind of hard to trust the FO…so I’m a bit negative by default. But very good point. the thought is we can draft another star and it never happens so I can’t argue with anything you’re saying.

The biggest fear most of us have is that he’s going to demand out.

If Trae wants to be here we don’t need to stupidly send him away. So I hope he keeps this “high hopes” attitude.

Don’t trust them or this owner. Once we trade Trae I will probably have to watch the hawks from a far. too much time and energy as a fan hoping this team does well…fails us every time.

Honestly I’m not really encouraged by what I’m seeing from OO. He looks like he regressed under Quinn. Don’t seem like OO is his type of player …I say trade OO too at this point. I would be ok getting a high lottery pick but I gotta be honest supes…I don’t trust this FO to make a smart move. unfortunately smart moves may not equal the best business decisions money wise.

I have no clue how fans are still showing up for this. The ice Trae effect will soon take a toll on this fan base with all the losses piling up. as soon as Trae gets that Atlanta Joe Johnson fan base attendance these owners won’t want shit to do with Trae.

No shock here. I believe it and I think fans who don’t believe it are crazy. We can’t fix this with Trae and probably will have to tank for 3-5 more years if we trade him. ive never checked out on the hawks but this is the first season I’m not watching games and definitely not attempting to attend them. Trae is at fault but so is the FO & Owners. They all share a big Blame for what this has turned into.

Trae equals money for this franchise but with the way things are going he will leave on his own terms in two years from now. i say trade him IF you think he’s out of here. i don’t feel like it’s all on Trae though…this franchise failed to make smart decisions. Nothing is wrong with a win now mentality but we made some bad contract decisions and trades. The owners have to blame themselves just as much as fans want to blame Trae. trae certainly didn’t do everything right but we are going to deal with this from most stars these days. Guys aren’t going to want to wait to win big or be relevant.

I had to do my own research on wiggins….I thought Wiggins had turned his career around after that championship season with the warriors but I see he’s back to minny Wiggins. i assume he really was playing well that season cause he was in a contract year. That’s the rumor and what warrior fans seem to believe anyways. Last season I see he missed most games because of spending time with his father which I completely understand. These guys are human and some people tend to forget that. If your parents are on their death bed it changes you. I know the feeling…. i guess for me I’m a little lost with Wiggins. Dude was absolutely amazing that last warriors championship season and even went to the all star game….then missed most games last season due to a family illness issue, and after he returns mid season last season up until now he hasn’t returned to all star Wiggins…..BUT are we sure this dude can’t get back to all star Wiggins ???? this board tends to call a lot or players ass but then when they end up in a different situation they are playing better than we expected. CJ Mccolumn, Randle, Jeremi Grant…..there’s others I just can’t recall. i just hope this isn’t one of those situations where we can get Wiggins but choose not to then he goes somewhere else and start showing out. We get burned way too often.

Unfortunately this is the biggest concern of mines. i wish I could predict the future. I think the hawks should work on extending Trae young’s contract as soon as it’s possible

I’m shocked about the amount fans on Wednesday night game. Encouraging but weird all at the same time ! and Embiid didn’t even play so this wasn’t fans coming to see another’s teams star.

Not to mention…Philly is in championship contention with Embiid. I would bet Harris is just as impactful and he’ll be on a better contract that meets his skill set. im not saying Siakam isn’t good but a trio of Maxey, Siakam, Embiid ain’t making the real contenders sweat. Hawks on the other hand is in a position where we need to comfortably make the playoffs so Siakam is more beneficial for us.

@Mikey @NBASupes @Sothron @Vol4ever was just wondering…all the insider info has been saying Siakam wants to go to Philly but I’m curious does Philly (or really Morey)…want Siakam too ?…to a point where they’d pay him big money or again does Philly even want Siakam at all ? im wondering if spicy p is going to get a wake up call when he hits free agency that his value isn’t as high as he may think . If Philly rejects him, where does that leave him? if I’m Philly and I have cap space (I believe that’s the case for them)…I’m not thinking about Siakam as my first choice of putting talent around Embiid and Maxey,

Keldon isn’t that good defensively that’s what make this whole thing unexciting. ive yet to see a offer that brings us back actual size which we need. if the pelicans are interested in Murray as rumored the best offer to me so far is herb jones + 1st rd picks. FO need to really focus on size around Trae. That’s an extremely important factor going forward if we are going to keep him.

Well at least my thoughts on our situation lines go to exactly what I believed. i knew we were in hot water….its very hard to have any faith in this FO. Unfortunately so. Atlanta Hawks and Falcons are a mess right now but falcons have a way better chance at correcting their mistakes this offseason. Hawks on the other hand is just screwed unless a miracle happens.
