  1. You must be kidding if you think you will get Turner for Devin Harris...
  2. No way we take Olynik, Mitchell, Hardaway, Gobert or Withey ahead of Porter, Goodwin, Robinson, Mcdoo, Burke, Poythress or even Franklin, should be a no brainer. I would like to have Porter or Goodwin and Burke and think we have a decent chance to do it, we will probably choose 13 & 18.
  3. I want Trey Burke, Otto Porter and McDoo at any cost. We just need a trade with Phoenix or Dallas to make it happen and get another first round pick Teague/Burke/Williams Korver/Jenkins/Williams Porter/FA Horford/McDoo FA/Zaza Two FA signings could be Dorrell Wright and Howard or Jefferson or Dalembert as consolation prize.
  4. Althought is not a great draft, I think there are useful players till 20th pick. There is a good chance guys like Otto Porter, Goodwin, Isaiah Austin or Poythress who are projected as possible lottery picks could fall to our first pick, I would take any of them. With Houston's pick I think Burke, Caldwell Pope or McDoo will be available. McDoo would ba a good replacement to Smith and Burke would be an excellent backup PG even capable to be a starting one, reminds me Ty Lawson
  5. Otto Porter, James McDoo, Trey Burke, Caldwell-Pope, Goodwin, Glen Robinson, Rudy Gobert, all are players that could be useful for us, we need quality depth at the wings and a defensive big
  6. Tony Mitchell is not a wing player he is a tweener. Otto Porter would be a great value and a great fit. We should take BPA and I think we could have a shot at James McDoo, Trey Burke, Otto Porter, Archie Goodwin, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Steven Adams or Isaiah Austin. I would love to have any of them.
  7. No way we trade Horford for Dwight unless he is resigned.
  8. I wouldn't trade Horford for Dwight if he is not resigned. And I wouldn't trade Horford+Teague for Dwight, because you will have Dwight and nothing more, so you would be even worse than Orlando. Teague/Harris Korver/Jenkins Dorrell Wright/Pick Smith/I.Johnson/Scott Dwight/Dalembert/pick works for me, even better if we trade Smith instead of Horford.
  9. Gay would be a better fit than Smith, we would be much better balanced. An improving PG, an scoring SF and a good PF, A PG a scorer on the wing a someone to play inside. About his contract is only 2 years more, we will have 1 year and a half from him and then he would be expiring contract with much trade value. Also I think we could also get Tony Wroten from Memphis if we send them Smith, he would also be a great asset here.
  10. I think they should be, we just have not enough talent, size, rebounding to be a playoff team. We just have 1 PG and 2 PF, the rest of the team probably would not play on any team except Harris and Korver, the team is very poorly balanced, we don't have defense on the perimeter, we get outrebonded on any game... We whould begin rebuilding around Teague and Horford and whoever we could get for Smith, hopefully Gay or Jefferson. A lottery pick + a 16-20 pick would be a nice first step although this draft is really weak.
  11. No, Calderon is older and not better than Teague
  12. Look, for all of you blaming Jeff, he is the best player on this metric!!! Not a surprise for me, I wonder what this statistic would look like if we definately would give him the keys of the car...
  13. Unfortunately Lou and Josh aren't all the SF we need.
  14. Denver has a logjam at SF and I think he has a reasonable contract, he is a good SF. Would you do Wilson Chandler/Jordan Hamilton for Kyle Korver and a 2nd round pick? I think he would be an upgrade for our SF position.
  15. Although I like Burke probably our biggest need it at the wings, a SG or SF with size and at C, Otto Porter or Isaiah Austin would be great to have. On the other hand it's easier to find a bargain at PG at that draft position than in other positions, ie: Lawson, Teague, Parker, Stuckey, Bledsoe, Vasquez, Collison, Holiday.... rather than great Centers or SFs. To give a more clear example I would not like to repeat past history and take a player lik Earl Clark, James Johnson or Austin Daye ahead of a Holiday, Lawson, Teague type of player, only draft for need if someone of that list is not available.
  16. I agree, Nbadraft.net has us taken him at 20th pick, it would be awasome to have him on our roster backing Teague, he is averaging 18ppg, 7,5apg, 1,5spg while shooting 55%, 40% from 3 pt line on his sophomore season. Probably I would prefer Michael-Carter Williams due to theorical potential but Burke would be an awesome pick.
  17. Dwight does not want to play here and will not sign here, period. Atlanta is not enough marketable team for a superstar.
  18. Dieng could be drafted with the lower of our first round pick and Young could be drafted on the 2nd round, I like both of them, in fact Young was projected to be a first round pick last year. Anyway for the higher draft pick I would consider SF: Otto Porter, Alex Poythress, C: Isaiah Austin, Rudy Gobert, J SG: Archie Goodwin, Marcus Smart, PG: M. Carter-Williams, Trey Burke,
  19. It's not only the atrocius offense he showed yesterday but also the disastrous defense he and Horford made, Celtics scored at the paint with high percentages and outrebounded us. The only bright spot from yesterday's game was Teague and of course Lou, great game by Williams.
  20. I don't understand the criticism to Teague, I don't think he was the reason of the loss, he shot well ,50% and defend Rondo and Bradley, Rondo is a superstar. Reason we lost is because we shoot poorly and didn't control the rebounds but that was not Jeff's fault, Josh shott 4-18, 0,20%. and allowed KG, Sullinger and Bass to shoot at high percentages.
  21. Dorrell Wright iw th guy I want the Hawks to go after next offseason, he is a great fit here, a SF that has size, good defender, 3pt shooter, perfect for us. Anyway I don't see this trade, I want nothing with Nick Young, he will just steal minutes from Jenkins and Williams and cannot defend.
  22. We Wesley Matthews limited Harden to 8-24 the game after, and he is not a defensive specialist. Opposing SG are going to have a party against us, Kevin Martin is nothing special and hit 28 pts. When you don't have to defend the oponent SG you are more fresh to attack on the following possession.

That could be true, I haven't checked it but sure no of that teams have a hole as we have at SG. Even when the opportunity is there we are not able to develop a young player. I remember the first season of Teague, he did a tremendous preseason scoring around 11-12 ppg, and 5 apg, and then he did not play on any game even with a big hole at PG, that simply has no sense, I agree we are the worst NBA team on developing and thus drafting young talent.
  24. Ohhh and the last one:Hawks coach Larry Drew insists playing time down the stretch of games, particularly among the depth of guards, will be determined by who has the hot hand that nightTeague 7-12Lou 5-14; 1-6 on 3pt.....Excuse me!!!! Could we see Lou and Teague play together please!!!!
  25. Teague is providing 16 ppg, 6 apg, 2,5 spg in 7 mpg less than last year, 26 mpg. Somebody has to explain why this guy is not playing 35 mpg, I just cannot understand it, DeShawn Stevenson is playing more minutes than Teague!!! This is crazy, today he is the future of the franchise with Horford, has no sense.Everybody say Stevenson is playing great defense, well... In 2 games opposing SG are scoring 41 ppg on FG 75%, guys you have to revise what good defense means on your language, I don't get it. He provides on offense a whopping 10 ppg, I mean 10 ppg is really good for him, I just cannot remember when was the last time he scored 10 ppg, oh yeah, 6 seasons ago!!!. So basically we are giving 35 ppg at SG, I'm sure we can cut that handicap to 10 ppg if we start Morrow or Jenkins.Meanwhile Teague helped to limit Westbrook to 5-18 and nobody here gives him some credit about that.I agree that Ivan and Zaza provide toughess and rebounding to the team, they should play more.Korver is a liability either on offense and defense, I think we have no chance than to start Smith at SF or make a big trade. We are the worst balanced team on the whole NBA, only 5 players are capable starters, 3 play PG and the other 2 PF, so basically we have a BIG hole at SG, SF and C that we try to fill with some role players that could not play more than 15 mpg on any NBA team, even the Nets... Some moves have to happen.
