Milwaukee beat us in the playoffs by having their wings crash the glass with vengeance. Our cute wings that love to shoot long 3’s more than drive to the basket need to get more scrappy and mix it up on the glass. You see how effective Delon is at getting cheap steals/offensive rebounds. We need more of that from the others If they can play with more scrappiness it will do wonders

Isn’t that the coaches job to protect his players? Nate has to have their back when dealing with refs.

Tough loss but us and Brooklyn are going to leapfrog Cleveland as long as we can finish strong. Them losing to the Magic was huge. That was their last gimme game of the season. Handle business, we will finish top 8

We would have to go undefeated and Toronto would have to lose their last 5 games. Not likely considering how hot they are, winning 11 of their last 13 games.

I will never understand why Nate wont let Trae play 40+ mins in big games. Trae has played exactly 1x 40 minute game since Nate took over. He had 14 in 2.5 seasons under LP. Its not like he is ever in foul trouble or not in shape. Sometimes we can just let him roll. His body can handle it.

Cleveland’s last 4 games are Sixers, Magic, Nets, Bucks. They could realistically go 1-3 the way they are struggling right now. We own the head to head tie breaker against them as well. We could go 3-1 and still pass them. The danger is if we end in a three-way tie in any form. Long story short, keep winning games. We have 2 very losable games left.

Great win. Huge win. Keep climbing. I want 7th. Cleveland is going to drop at least 2 more games. We have to keep up the pressure.

True. He has played 56 games. He is out at least another week. They have 2 games left after that he could return for. If he is questionable, he will play. Even if its just for a handful of minutes, just to ensure he makes the postseason eligibility. But if he is actually still injured, then he will not play.

Cleveland won today. The loser of todays game will be buried 3 games back of Cleveland with 4 to go. The winner still has a realistic chance at keeping pace and passing them in the standings down the stretch, the loser is likely locked in to 8 or lower.

We need it tonight. But guess what, so do they. Coming off of a tough loss I doubt the Nets come in sleepwalking. They are just as desperate to climb the standings as we are. If we win, it will be earned big time

2021-2022 Post/In- Between Game Thread: Thoughts, Updates, Tidbits etc.

Our rookies have been pretty cursed since 2019. Noone can stay healthy long enough to develop in to their potential -
Ok, we all know that those guys are on teams with better records. That being said. Lavine is the weakest link, Bulls don’t deserve 2 guys as they fall back to Earth and Derozon has been outplaying him all year. Traes numbers are better CP3, legacy pick, but he really hasn’t had that great of a season by his own standards. Trae’s numbers are better Harden, Im penalizing him for faking an injury to be traded (again). Traes numbers are better Those 3 were easy. The next group is where he will have to hope and pray Donovan Mitchell, having another great year, nothing against him. Trae’s numbers are better, but I would not be if he gets a spot Booker, Traes numbers are better, but Suns are best team in the West, which counts for something Curry, he has honestly fallen back to Earth after being MVP level to start the season. Traes numbers are simply better. But he (like CP3) will always get his legacy votes. Derozen, he is falling back to Earth but built up such a strong season it will be hard to push him out. At least 1 Bull makes it and he is the one. Traes numbers are better tho. Last group, going to be hard to jump them: Ja, his name and team are all the rage right now. Trae’s numbers are better, but Memphis is winning the PR battle right now. Luka, his stats are eye popping as always. Dallas is playing good again. Luka will always get love over Trae. My 6 no order Ja, Luka, Curry, Derozen, Booker, Trae

We should be 39-34 right now and in 8th place over the Nets and Hornets. Instead we are 36-37, 10th place with terrible losses to Detroit x2 and Nola. Good teams dont do that this late in the season. We are not a good team
-
This loss and the Pistons loss are going to haunt us big time. Thats the difference in us being in 10th or 8th place right now. Playing down to the comp is what bad teams do. We are blowing it big time when it matters the most

That was awful. Trae is telegraphing his cross court pass. Needs to keep his dribble and probe more. Kev is just being careless with the ball. That last poke away from behind was very predictable.

Man, you ain’t lying. I love football but I have started to hate the Falcons board. A lot less insight, just a bunch of angry and emotional responses. Uninformed opinions given as fact. And threads getting shut down left and right as a result.

I love the internet. Great medical analysis for those curious about his injury.
