  1. Charlotte was stupid for that one lol.
  2. If Minny had the 15th pick and we had like 22nd how would that not be enough to move up 4 or 5 spots? If George Hill is enough to get the 15th pick and a second rounder...if Johnny Flynn is worth the 20th pick (I believe) a second round pick AND Brad Miller...and in 2013 basically the exact same trade I'm proposing took place between Utah and Minny. Minnesota traded the 9th pick to Utah for the 14th and 21st picks.
  3. The fact that it was weak made people afraid to trade out of the top bc there wasn't much depth at all...you were only going to be able to get something out of this draft by keeping a high pick of you had one. If we can offer two frost round picks, one of which not far out of the lottery, we should be able to move up. If you're going to trade out of the lottery would you rather end up with Juan Hernangomez (?) and Deandre Bembry (no disrespect bc I like him as a player)....or Grayson Allen and Marques Bolden (used those bc of the Duke connection but there are other great guys you could throw in this range). As prospects it's not even close what the better deal is
  4. Thought it was a couple of years away just didn't know exact time. Guys like Issac, Tatum, and Bridges are great wings that should be available to us and Rabb, Bolden and possibly Boatright(if he can develop a better game off the dribble) are bigs that should be available to us. Like our options.
  5. Can't remember the year I just know that it becomes a second rounder after a period of time but I'm hoping we can use it this year. And @Spud2Nique I agree with you about Minny.
  6. Why would we want Minny to struggle another year? And I agree about Issac
  7. Rabb is definitely one of those guys that could be available to us if we could move up. From what I've seen its not just top heavy, although the top is definitely great...there's talent all the way through. And I'm not even factoring in international players bc I haven't seen any of them
  8. But that's the thing...we won't need a top 6 or 7 to get a great player. There will probably be 5 pgs taken in the top 10 which again will push other guys our way. If we can get in the top 10 we have a shot at some good talent.
  9. Does anybody think Minnesota can make the playoffs this year? And if they do would it be possible for us to package our first round picks and move up into the lottery in next years draft? I really like what I see out of that draft class and it would be great to have that option available to us. If we can keep the core together and add a good wing in free agency and then add a star in the draft next year I think we will be on our way to contention honestly. Lots of game changers coming out next year and so many of them are point guards (which I don't believe we will be after) so other great prospects could fall to us at other positions. Just throwing it out there for those who may not be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel lol
  10. They will literally find anything to complain about man. We didn't pick the guy that they watched 6 minutes of highlights from so we're doomed.

Man what are y'all complaining about now? Dude has skills, nice player. Doesn't have the body or athleticism but has a similar skill set of igoudala. If he can develop a shot he'll be pretty damn good. Doubt most of y'all actually watch ball, you just look at mocks and then complain when we don't pick who you wanted like you actually know what you talking bout.
  12. Y'all need to chill man, to early to fully assess this trade anyway. We all knew Jeff was going to be moved at some point so let's get over that part of it. Secondly a first round lottery pick is a good asset. We don't know what they're going to do with that yet so we have to wait on it. We cleared cap space and added a very valuable asset for a player that we all knew was outta here one way or the other. Other moves may follow this as well so let's just chill out for a minute and let them do their jobs
  13. Ummm this deal should be done no question...that shouldn't be up for debate. Now in talking about horford I understand the back and forth. Thing is I would love to still have him on the team next year with sap to help bring Noel along but not for the price that it's going to cost us. That to me is the only real quarrel here, pay him max money and give him a long term deal or move on and try to use those assets elsewhere
  14. O...well I can't really answer that. Tru is that shutdown corner that every team needs but he's not really a playmaker. I love what he does for our team tho. Vic is the most talented pass rusher on our team (hasn't proven it with the numbers yet) and that's a big part of any successful team. At this moment it's Tru bc he's better at his job than Beasley is at his but the future may change that.
  15. Not sure what you're trying to ask here?
  16. Needs more time, he's still a young cat and has good mechanics on his shot. If somebody like Jason Kidd can develop into the shooter that he ended up being I see no reason why Tim can't
  17. Just get an actual starting sf in here...I don't care how just get it done. Resign everybody except Baze. Good player but not worth the money he's going to demand. Hope Minny cracks the playoffs next year and really have some things cooking with 2 first round picks next year.
  18. Bye Baze...I wouldn't even consider signing him with those type of numbers being thrown around. THJr is just fine as our starting 2 next year. Spend that money on a starting 3 like everybody said
  19. You say you'd rather have defense like Wade doesn't play any. And I have to completely disagree with your earlier statements about Wade riding Shaq and Lebron to his finals wins. You can argue that they all rode him to those 3 finals...especially the first one with Shaq. Wade damn near won that one by himself
  20. I'm sure it doesn't but that's not really my style anyway lol. I can't tell you how many old basketball games I've watched. I'm kind of a connoisseur if I do say so myself. Joe was good, really good, but he's no D Wade. He's a better shooter than wade...literally the comparison stops right there.
  21. Dumars better than wade??? Ummm nah.
  22. Dragic can't guard Jeff or Dennis one on one....I consider that the biggest disadvantage in that matchup of we do have to play them in the playoffs. They may decide to put wade on the point bc of that fact but if that happens then that wears him out for the other end. Not afraid of that team. Toronto is the only team that bothers me
  23. Tried to tell you about her @Dolfan23 lol. Nutz!!!!!!
  24. My all time favorite falcon. The man was on my grooms cake at my wedding for gods sake lol. He played with such heart, such grit and it showed in the little things. Everybody talks about the two track down forced fumbles which is exactly what I'm talking about but it also showed in he mans blocking. One of the best at that, looked like he always took pride in popping people. The way he took Julio in and the relationship they have after everybody in the media was trying their best to turn it into this big fued when we drafted him. Will always admire and appreciate what he did for this team. Gonna miss you 84
  25. Thought I'd go ahead and get this started. We have lots of needs and we should have a decent amount of money after cuts....I hate that we're missing two mod round picks this year bc this is a very deep draft but it is what it is. We could trade back and pick up a couple of picks but knowing TD that won't happen so I'm just going to go at this without assuming any trades happen. In FA give me Ben Jones (C HOU)..Osemele (G BAL), he's who I really want but for the sake of saving money I'll be fine with Allen from KC or Brooks from HOU.. Bruce Irvin (SLB SEA)..Derek Wolfe (DL DEN). As you see I spent most of our resources on the trenches in FA. According to DQ this will be their biggest focus as well. As as far as the draft goes I really like so many prospects in having a hard time narrowing it down. With that being said in round 1 Jaylon Smith LB Notre Dame. I know this may be unpopular to some people bc of the injury but I believe this guy is worth the risk. If we have to redshirt a year I'm cool with that if it means we end up with a top 5 lb in the end. He definitely has the talent to be that. (Other possibilities here would be Shaq Lawson, Andrew Billings, Robert Nkemdiche) round 2 Sua Cravens SS/LB USC. I'm being very VERY optimistic here by hoping that he drops to us in the second, but if he does I really wouldn't care what else we did in the draft. This guy fits our scheme to a T. Actually my favorite prospect in the draft. Round 3 Tyler Boyd WR PITT. We need another legit threat with Julio and this guy can be it. Round 4 Karl Joseph SS WV. I know I already mocked Cravens to us in the second but good lord this kid is dynamite. He's small but plays huge. I loveeeeeee his heart and his motor. Maybe eventually moving Cravens to WLB and letting Joseph be the SS. Really he's just the best player available at this point so don't want to pass on him. Round 7 Mike Matthews C TA&M. Jakes little brother, decent center prospect who could develop nicely into a good piece. Another possibility is Victor Ochi from Stoney Brook.
