  1. Honestly, I'd still rather hear that he worked on his post moves.
  2. I know you said it, that's why I said it so that it can be said again. Keep up man. One Star response., {/sarcasm} Actually I just read what you had written wrong. My bad. Lol
  3. I think we still are a piece or two away to be honest. *shrug
  4. He's got better post moves than Horf does.... lol. Mark me as "on board. "
  5. So remind me why so many people want this guy? Does he fill a need or two?
  6. Maybe, but wouldn't that have more or less put us in the same position at SF? (No pun intended) Just that time we'd still have a body on the roster to throw in a few mins a game. But too late to talk about what ifs I guess.
  7. Kind of looks like we should've kept Oubre. Ah well... Who's next to sign?
  8. Why do we even need one? That's what Europe is for! /Sarcasm
  9. At highest, I could see Al at around 85... but 83 seems about right to me.
  10. Man.... Just another episode of "As The Hawks Turn." Drama every off-season. Ridiculous.
  11. Good to see Al working on his game. That said and I can't say it enough, I hope he's REALLY working on his post play. He can't rely solely on that midrange J.
  12. I agree. ECFs are our ceiling this coming season. Will that happen? Hard to say. Things would have to go as smoothly as they did last season, before ASW. We'll see how it all plays out. One game at a time.
  13. Al has a quickness advantage over most C's. Especially when they have to guard him around the perimeter. Sure he doesn't exploit that often but he does. Against other PFs I don't see what advantage he really has. Maybe if he had a post game but as of his game now? Just don't see it. *shrugs* That said, I'm also curious to see how he plays alongside Splitter.
  14. We've only been playing him at the position he's most effective at. Even if he is a natural PF, he has more advantages offensively as a C.
  15. Unlikely. Solely because BudCox will never give the fanbase what they want in terms of signing players (not that they SHOULD listen to the base's forum GMs about that). They'd rather sign a waived past prime player who would barely play, for the last roster spot. Lol
  16. I still don't think he'll be any better at the 4. He's had more offensive advantages against the 5s (mainly quickness) in the League but hardly ever exploited them. Also, I don't think his post play will improve all that much and that he's already what he's going to be at this point.
  17. Personally, I'd like for Dennis to be there with Edy and be limited to only 1 position as well. That said, I'm curious to see how these new guys work out.
  18. The Hawks' FB page did a good job of reminding me that the Hawks actually did participate in the draft this year. Lol However, I don't know about trying to hype us up for a player that will likely never see an NBA game in a Hawks Uni. Ah well, keep shooting em Marcus!
  19. I get what you're saying, its valid but we still are NOT the Spurs. They still had/have players that can get it done when necessary. That said... I too am wondering what's going to happen at the SF spot whilst Thabo sits out. Guess we'll see.
  20. So.... maybe we should've kept Oubre and got THJr for 2nd round picks and Mack or something? Not sure if that would've worked salary wise?
  21. After this draft, I feel like Budcox would even trade away a top 5 pick for another "proven" player on a cheap contract. Lol
