  1. DAM Good effort, just couldn't pull it off. Didn't watch all of it because the Cotton Bowl was on, but did get in the full 1st quarter, which was a fun watch.
  2. It's pretty unrealistic to think that Trae is ever going to stop shooting his fair share of threes. While it'd be great if he went all Steve Nash and stopped calling his own number a lot, while he has some Nash in him, that's not really his game, and I'd figure that this would not be that difficult to figure out. If his average amount of shots taken stays about where it is right now to be honest up to 18 shots per game, that'd be a good sign, and we're probably making the playoffs with a .500 or slightly better record. If he gets to where he's taking 20+ shots again, then that won't be good.
  3. Really unideal finish and defensive game in general, all in all.
  4. Glad to be wrong. That was a good win.
  5. Maybe Huerter should have started after all...
  6. I'm afraid the Hawks are not going to win this game. If Capela was available, I'd be much more up to trying to be a homer. Would like to see a competitive game occur, but all in all, in the end, this will just be one game. If this does somehow end up being a win though, it'll likely be in similar fashion to what San Antonio did honestly with playing a small lineup.
  7. Should add, continues to do what he did vs the Bulls and the final games of 19/20.
  8. No prediction on seeding in the Eastern Conference, but I'll say the Hawks will finish somewhere in between 7 and 10. If Cam Reddish can play in control and within himself, there might be more upside though.
  9. Bruno with the banker to end the scoreless streak. By the scrubs, that is.
  10. Didn't take long at all for us to be playing that small lineup that we all love and crave! /s
  11. I would still guess that Bogi starts but I don't think he's getting 30+ minutes. I don't think minutes are going to be fluid outside of Trae/Collins/Capela, and in the case of Capela I think he's around 25 minutes. But I also didn't watch much of the preseason. I'll be watching Wednesday however.
  12. Didn't realize until today that Ryan has not thrown his 20th TD yet, that's not a great stat at all and shows how out of the loop I've been (just haven't had much interest, and I'm sure I'm not alone). Holy poop. Koetter might be hurting but I think Ryan might be starting to decline, for real. If he doesn't return to how he looked at his best a few years back with a new OC, it's likely time to start thinking about the post-Ryan era. Wouldn't go QB in this upcoming draft, but we might need to after the 2021 season.
  13. I'd probably prefer Collins play less than that at C (and likely won't get my wish, because running a Young/Bogdanovic/Reddish/Gallo/Collins lineup might be fire offensively) but this looks like a good start on a guess, IMO. I think Bogdanovic starts, but I would guess his minutes will end up similar to the time he got in Sacramento (28 minutes). Would guess that the early bench mob lineups are going to feature Rondo making plays to Collins and Gallo.
  14. If Bogdan doesn't get matched, I do think you start him instead of Gallo. Young/Bogdanovic/Reddish/Collins/Capela Gallo is your 6th man and splits minutes between the 3 and 4. Collins leaves early and headlines the bench lineup. Not totally sure on how you'd divide the minutes.
  15. 4/72 is fair for Bogdan. Have to pay for shooting in this world in the NBA. Hopefully Sacramento doesn't match. This has already been a very good free agency, if we can top it off with Bogdan, A+ free agency.
  16. Haliburton is going to be a good player, imo. Crazy that he wasn't top 10. He's boring, but sometimes boring is Malcolm Brogdon.
  17. I...don't mind it. Not my first choice but a good pick, imo.
  18. Just gonna wait and see what the announcement is on TV before I say anything (I didn't spoil myself).
  19. Honestly would be good with any of the seemingly obvious picks.
  20. I'd also be cool with Deni as the pick.
  21. The Bulls go with gambling on upside with Patrick Williams. Hmm. Isaac Okoro/Tyrese Haliburton/Killian Hayes for me btw, for real (as the Hawks pick).
