I love McCann and hate for him not to be a Brave but i'm officially pissed that he couldn't get the bat off his shoulder in 4 ABs. There is no tomorrow. Quit taking pitches and swing at something dammit. And if Chipper is throwing out the first pitch you go and catch it. Of course, that thing may be more just friendly poking than them really being mad about it.

I used to feel that way but to me he has mishandled Uggla since he's been here. He seems intimidated by Uggla. Even Cox knew you had to save the game in the 8th. Tying run on second with no outs? Bring in the closer. That alone isn't enough to fire him but i'm not sure he is a championship level manager. Still he's good but at some point you have to change the culture of just being a good team that can't rise to the occasion. Dusty may not be the answer but i can tell you for sure he isn't going to continually trot out guys batting in the low .100s day after day. I mean we're talking guys batting under .100 in some situations that are still getting full time play. Freddie needs to get credit for going with Garcia rather than medlen though. That was a great move.

We do have to keep in mind that the Heat have really no new players, are the two time champs. I mean they aren't working things out. They know what they are doing. We've got almost a completely new team with a new coach, new system.

Defensive line, linebackers, offensive line are all bad. Mostly but not completely because of injuries. Running game is average and outside of Julio and Tony no really good receivers. It all spells a really poor football team. Injuries are a big deal though. We've had a lot. Still should be able to beat the Jets though.

I know Bud has been a key coach for a championship franchise in the NBA but everytime they showed the bench I had horrible Lon Kruger flashbacks. Geez I hope he knows what he's doing.

I'm considering not watching. Last night was just a disaster and I can't stand all the puig hype. Acted like Upton was scared to go first to third on freeman's single to right because of Puig. The ball was hit so damn hard by freddy that puig had it in his glove before upton got to second. Otis couldn't have made it first to third on that ball. Anyway, we've been somewhat inconsistent all year so hopefully we blow them out tonight. Don't know if i can stay up to 1am though. Stupid LA. Why don't they just get on our time? lol.

Yeah i really have no idea how good he is but i think Teague/JJ/Korver or Teague/Lou/Korver might get blown by quite a bit where we just have a couple of undersized bigs waiting for them at the rim. LOL. I think its not so much that Carroll is a lock down defender but that he is physical and scrappy. Going totally on rep more than anything though.

Someone has to play defense. Lou / JJ/ Korver combinations would get killed by most of the better wings in the league i think. I don't know lot about him but i think the projected starters of Teague/Carroll/Korver/Milsap/Horford is pretty damn good. Obviously probalby not going to take down the Heat in a seven game series but its balanced, hardworking, and talented. Great shooting, good rebounding, good d.

With all the money nba teams have can't they find someone to make folding chairs that are bigger than normal. I can't disagree with that but Ryan isn't really average. That is a major weakness but his track record of winning games (prior to this season) is pretty exceptional. Its easy to forget when we're on this downturn but your average qb wouldn't have pulled out as many games as he has. Our running game has never been that great since he's been here except for maybe that first year. I don't feel like we ever had a truly exceptional offensive line but still we won a lot of football games. Roddy, Julio, and Tony G are great receivers no doubt. Of course coming on the heals of Vick, Ryan is the perfect anti-Vick. Merge those two together and you've got one great QB.

I think a lot of "mainstream" beers are underrated. Shiner Bock is one of my favorites. Boddingtons is awesome. I also like old school ales and lagers from the northern breweries that were in Wisconsin, PA, NY etc. in the 50s-70s. Is anyone old enough to have had this one below? Probably but most beer snobs actually spend as much time buying beer as drinking it. My friends who just drink Bud or whatever consume about 3 times as much as I do in general. I like beer but i'm pretty amateur at consumption. 2 or 3 and i'm done usually.
