  1. I think we all agree that's the right course for some teams but not all. Seriously how hard of a decision was it for philly and phx to tank. They had nothing going on already.
  2. I thought it was being called the HighIQFactory
  3. Its amazing how many people are so much smarter than nba GMs. Its simple. Trade away your talent, lose most your games, and a guaranteed superstar will fall in your lap in the draft. If you don't think this you are an idiot who likes being a loser and probably works out on a treadmill. Yours truly, BK
  4. I was feeling like it was PHX too. But not every gm subscribes to this though. Look at the number of teams in the east that made big efforts to get better. Tanking is an easy decision when you have no good players and you already suck. Its harder when you've got some players who have no interest in busting their butt for no reason.
  5. That's pretty cool. So I guess you can get it and use it on any device but not have to use it on all? So just use it on the computer i want to use league pass on right?
  6. But league pass is still useless for people in Atlanta who want to watch hawks games. Cable/Satellite/malware are the only choices.
  7. Didn't see the game but the highlights were awesome. This game had everything. Dez Bryant meltdown, Megatron rambling, Stafford gunning. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000270964/GameDay-Cowboys-vs-Lions-highlights http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000270964/GameDay-Cowboys-vs-Lions-highlights Now I'm not knocking Matt Ryan. I'm a huge fan of Matt Ryan but I'm amazed by Stafford's arm. I didn't think he had that great an arm but since i only really watch a lot of Falcons some of these passes from Stafford are friggin long ass bullets across the field that i'm not used to seeing. The last play was priceless.
  8. Not sure why we're taking shots at Al who is clearly our best player. Lou is a good player too. Its typical when guys get hurt for long periods people forget how effective they are. Not a good defender but he's a really good offensive player.
  9. Still saying he doesn't want to be traded but its not as emphatic as it was last week. The Falcons are bad and it seems playoffs are way out of the picture now. I'd think they'd ask him and if he says yes send him over there.
  10. Definitely that is what Lou was brought in for but Teague will be in the mix. Depending on matchups Horford can get us buckets when needed too. He's done it before. He can drive around guys like Jefferson and West. Still its usually a guard right. There aren't many who can stay in front of Teague and i think given the green light he will deliver.
  11. I think it said Ivey has been in the league 9 years. That's a long time for a second round guard with a pretty limited offensive game. Really shows how hard he must work.
  12. http://www.ajc.com/weblogs/atlanta-hawks/2013/oct/25/mack-wins-roster-spot-ivey-waived/
  13. I can't believe Childress is really that bad. Shows you what taking a few years off of NBA competition will do. Especially at his age.
  14. Man its nice to see someone in the sports world show personality in interviews. Pop is hilarious.
  15. I think Oden was looking for a winning team where he wouldn't play that much.
  16. Damn. I will say his form looks better. He got that off a lot quicker than he shot them last year.
  17. I'm also in the software biz and from my experience some of the worst contract firms for developing are also some of the biggest. I'm not saying that's the case here because i haven't looked at it but just because they got the contract doesn't mean they really knew what they were doing. In their defense, one of the big problems was all the federal databases they have to hit to verify all kind of stuff about the applicant. I do think there are big guns who have experience turning these things around pretty quickly. Just hope that's who they've gotten.
  18. They get Korver and we take their biggest headache off their hands? i disagree that we are tanking and Korver is really our only scoring threat from the wing right now. OKC would fall all over themselves making this deal. If we're going to take someone's crap to gain a first I'd rather it not be one of the top teams in the league netting us the 20th pick. But none of that matters if you think we're tanking. I don't. So we have different trade goals. I agree with MM though that Korver, Milsap, Brand didn't sign on to tank. I suppose there is a wink deal that they will get traded to contenders but i doubt it.
  19. I'm a huge Teague fan but I gotta say that Dennis looks like he's going to be hard to keep off the court. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.
  20. Starting to get some attention which is nice: http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/10/24/pbt-roundtable-who-is-your-league-pass-team-this-season/
  21. I have to say I'm glad in Ferry's first draft he got a great shooter who can knock down 2s and 3s at a high percentage. Mike Scott looks awesome.
  22. I"m optimistic about this team because i think if everyone is healthy our rotation of Teague/Dennis Carroll/Lou Korver/Carroll Milsap/Horford Horford/Brand/Ayón Is better than last year 1-8. But if we have multiple injuries in the starters I think 9-14 is pretty weak or at least unknown. We'll see what Cunningham, Jenkins, Scott, and Antić can bring. Jenkins needs to get healthy because he'll be the first to get a real shot with Lou down.
  23. Man how many times have we heard that. You think LD and Woody had their hands tied. Just think of Cheeks when Josh is the big money FA acquisition that the GM thinks is the missing puzzle piece. I ain't gonna hate no more. Detroit will get to enjoy some things :
  24. Dennis tries to make much more difficult passes. Teague isn't that kind of guard. I think they will both cut down on the turnovers once things get going.
