It would be comical if it weren't so blatantly obvious they're targeting him. Like, are they collectively that butthurt about last year? I'm good with pulling back the calls but don't double-down and give the stupid calls to other players. What Siakim was doing last night was ridiculous. Getting knocked over consistently by Bogd? Really. The dude is sawft as Charmin. He couldn't knock a dude over if you gave him a sledgehammer. But Siakim turns into that lady from the 'i've fallen and I can't get up' commercial at the slightest whiff past him? Come on.

Sadly, we're danged if we do and dang'd if we don't sometimes. There were several instances where guys not-named-Bogd passed up shots they shouldn'tve. So part of me is ok with taking initiative offensively. So I can't get too mad at times when it doesn't work out. There have been plenty of 'no-no-no-yaaas' shots by Bogd, so ... *sigh* dang'd if we do and danged if we don't. Now lemme log out before ol' shakes tears me one.

And I'll explain it just like I explain everything else. I don't mind if we get no calls .... as long as no one else does. The fkng ridiculous continuation foul calls guys get while, whenever it's us (Trae), we get the refs applying the "new" rules and pinpoint accuracy on the foul happening a nanosecond before we (Trae) went up for the shot. The idea that Trae gets no-called when he hurls himself into the defender is perfectly fine .... as long as no one else gets that call either. Watching guys like Siakim, Beal, Siakim, Kyrie, Siakim, rando-bench guy, Siakim, and others .. (did I mention Siakim?) flail into us then get the call+continuation because they got off balance and fell on their own? ... that I can't stand for. If no-call is the call, then it should be the call for everyone.

Agreed. Watching Hunter wake TF up and play with force was a delight but that should be the norm. Don't just bow up after getting punched in the belly (which is what happened to Hunter in the 1st qtr, then all of a sudden he's tryna dunk of fools out there).

You're probably right. I'm allowed one 'play moar Jalen' moment aren't I? I haven't cashed that chip in all year. I just got frustrated with watching Bogd and others standing next to the unskilled Raptor who's only redeeming quality is taking advantage of the opposing player being smaller than him. Oh that one was cute. Feeding right into what TOR needs (a smaller guy on Siakim) just because TLC has this rep as a stopper when he's really just a try-er, so it stands out when compared with our other wings. Sadly, the matchup vs TOR we should be scared of isn't one that happens on the court. Hoping somebody else beats TOR so we don't have to face them and end up getting Nurse'd.

You ain't wrong, so the thing I complain about isn't necessarily us not getting respect. The thing that bothers me is other equally unproven guys/teams that do get respect absent accomplishment. You got folks out here touting the Cavs and Hornets as sleepers to make a run (whatever that means). But, when it comes to the Hawks, it's eh Trae don't play no defense so .... how's about the Nets? You got folks out here touting the SGA's and Ball's of the world but when it comes to Trae, they set the high bar. That's the part that still bothers me.

There's a reason UTA keeps floundering despite having a good mix around those two. I'm sure some of it is because they hate each other's guts (allegedly), but it's not a done-deal title like supes is suggesting.

I do think a conversation specific to the UTA situation is ok as a breakout session. Don't let @marco102 discourage you, he's a meany. I think Gobert is the more likely 'get'. Can't imagine Mitchell wants to come here to be 2nd fiddle. And, make no mistake, he'd be 2nd fiddle to Trae.
