A very interesting thought provoking fact....

There are only a handful of players who have passed their first contract and are still with the same team...

2. Tim Duncan

3. Big Z

4. Kobe

5. KG

6. Dirk

What that means is that out of the 600 players who have been drafted over the last 10 yrs, only 6 that I can come up with are still with their original team...

That's amazing.

FURTHERMORE....

Does that means that these are the 6 most valuable players in the league...

If you can think of any others please post em... I would hate to think that FAcy and cuts knocks out 594/600 players in the last 10 yrs.

This is exactly like resigning them. An extension is a second contract. I would include people like Pau Gasol, etc. in this list.
