DrReality
Is it my imagination . . . or has the scuttle butt about Harrington being traded gotten quiet. Since there have been a couple trades go down, all the talk that involved Al has gotten quiet. Is it the old line that the trades that really happen aren't talked about . . . or do teams know that BK wants to keep him??????
flava
al is playing so lacksidasically tonight. really a disappointment. also, are we missing lue tonight or what? salim's idea of a point guard is to shoot. the sonics didn't win this game, we lost it... flava
HawksFan87
SALIM is not a PG , and AL I dont understand him good for 1 half horrible the last 2, this is the reason why we need to trade for a PG, because SALIM sure aint helping the cause by just throwing up shots and turning it over. I agree I feel like we deserved to lose this game J- CHILL was the only one who played good tonight
Plainview1981
Big Al Harrington had two rebounds tonight. Ouch
DominiqueWilkins
I’m glad they’ve died out some, because all I was seeing was Al for Andre Miller trades and that’s not even a reality to happen.

Plainview1981
Quote: Had you watched the game, you would know why. OUCH... I don't have to see last nights game to know that Al is a mediocre rebounder... Then again, you're used to taking up for career underachievers so no big surprise you would support Al. OUCH No excuse for a starting PF playing 30+ minutes to collect only 2 rebounds... It's easy to see why he didn't get any offensive rebounds... He was busy hanging out at the 3pt line. 164 shots go up and Al collects 2 rebounds. He really puts the POWER in power forward doesn't he? Also, it becomes easier to see why Al only got 2 rebounds... Nick freakin Collison was collecting them. 6 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS.
TheDude
honestly, the only reason they die down is because they're beat to death...after awhile they'll come back up (as they should)

exodus
Quote: J- CHILL was the only one who played good tonight Childress had 6 turnovers, probably his career high, and made a lot of dumb decisions. He threw a pass way over Al's head that Wilt the Stilt would have needed a ladder to catch. Chill is so slow with the ball that if he dribbles for too long there is a good chance for a turnover. Fortunately he doesn't do that often.
Gray Mule
Question: Who on the entire Hawks team is a "pure" position player? Answer: No one. Hawks have no player on the roster that is "pure" or exclusive to a single position. We have no "Pure" point guard, 2 guard, SF, PF or center. Zaza and Edwards, as centers, may be the closest thing Hawks have, but either one could probable slip over to the PF position without much trouble. Everyone can and does play more than one position. About Al Harrington. He is a tiny bit small to be a truly great PF and his defense there is, as we all know, not all star quality. He is pretty big and a little slow to be s SF but he has the ability to slip outside and hit the three, sometimes with very good results. He hit a couple of them last night to keep the Hawks close. No one had a "great" game for the Hawks, and when you go cold, as Atlanta did to start the 4th., all the other things that went wrong are magnified. Partially because of our record this season and partially because we're just not THAT good, Atlanta gets no player on the all star team, no player on the sophmore team and no player on the rookie team. Completely shut out. One consolation to our being ignored, I don't think that any of the players Hawks traded away as we "Flushed" the roster made the all star roster. That means we traded away high priced non all stars for young, inexpensive non all stars. These current Hawks have a chance to grow into something. The ones we got rid of apparently didn't improve that much after leaving here.
