Something just doesn't seem right with the 7, 8, and 9 picks. I didn't think Whitemen was that great, but if you are going with comedy (Tommy and Doubtfire) then how do you leave of the greatest comedy of all-time in Dumb and Dumber? Every time I watch it I see something else about that movie that just cracks me up.

And the 80s should include Caddyshack and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Overall I like your picks, some of them I just didn't care for (like Dawn of the Dead) but a pretty good selection overall. I would like to know, is there any criteria for what you chose? Like are you picking off of camerawork/special effects or screenplay or storyline or just the overall feel of the film? It just kind of confuses me like on the 80s where you have basically all "bad-ass" movies and then all of the sudden Big is on the list.

I don't think there has been a really good comedy since TB, Mrs. Doubtfire, and yes Dumb and Dumber... the "humor" that's in movies the last few years don't really work for me.

Stuff like Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin and such films just aren't very funny to me.

There's no special thing... Just overall what I like for that time period.

How is Rookie of the Year ahead of the two greatest Baseball movies? Was Gary Busey really that good in the movie?

Umm... Hoop Dreams anyone?

Hoop Dreams is the best basketball movie, one of the top 3 movies of the 90s, and one of the top 10 movies of all time.

How can this possibly be a top list of every decade and not have any porn? j/k

Speaking of that... Something embarassing just happend to my nephew. He was going to borrow one of my burned music cd's to play for his girlfriends parents, but he grabbed one of my burned porno's instead and went over to his gf's house and put in the DVD player and the movie came on instead.

Right in front of the girls parents. My nephew's pretty p!ssed at me right now. lol

That was the first time he ever met the girls parents also.

My nephew said they asked him if he was into that sort of thing. lol

He is so dead already. The only way that works out is if the girl is turned on by her parents disapproving of him!

My best story that doesn't quite come close to matching that was when I had invited a girl over to watch Napoleon Dynamite with me and my room-mate. We didn't really know her that well.

My room-mate had downloaded Napoleon Dynamite and burned it onto DVD. We chucked it into the DVD player. And then I tried to give it a huge intro. "3...2...1...Here it is!"

And then there was a close up of a **** on screen.

Luckily the girl was cool with it and we all just cracked up laughing.
