Ugh. How many forwards can this team draft? The last 5 first round picks have now been spent on forwards. BK loves forwards.

I really woudn't mind the pick if not for the fact that BK already drafted a half dozen forward prospects.

The team still has huge holes at center and point guard.

The difference is this guy plays a definite forward position...power forward. Which happens to be a position that is around the basket, kinda where all those lay-ups happened last year that were our biggest weakness. Oh, and this pf actually plays defense which will stop a lot of those lay-ups. So sorry if y'all feel disappointed that we didn't take another potential, hybrid guard/forward combo. WE got a tough power forward and we will be better because of it.

well for those saying BK is too tight-lipped, this broke that mold...this was known for awhile and although most of us thought he would trade down, the rumors were true.

solid pick. i can't wait to see how he fits in our lineup.

BK opening himself up to lots more second guessing.

I'm a little disappointed to have not seen a trade down, especially with Roy right there still on the board. Roy, the guy who could pretty easily turn out to be the best player in this entire draft. He was the highest rated and most valuable player left, I wish we'd have taken him and either traded him or kept him. IMO either way we'd be better off.

Hopefully Shelden can fit in here and play the running and athletic style of play we've got. If not, then we might really regret making this pick.
