"I know better what the Hawks need"

The Hawks GM doesn't know what he's doing. I know what

he should do.

Our draft pick was one of the top defensive big men in

the nation last season. He is a strong rebounder.

However, he will be a complete failure when he takes the

floor for the Hawks. He can't shoot. He is so weak

that the "Big Boys" in the NBA will run all over the

top of him. He won't get any rebounds because he is

so short he won't be able to reach the ball.

He is so slow that everyone will be waiting on him so

that they can set up a play because he can't get out

from under the defensive goal where he has been buried

by all the "Big Boys" of the NBA.

Each time he tries to play defense, he will either let

the other player go freely to the goal or commit a foul

resulting in the "And One!" call for three points.

The only reason the Hawks drafted him? His college

coach told our GM he was good and our GM believed him.

Why did he tell this? To use as a recruiting aid!

Not a word of truth in it.

Why did the Hawks draft him? Because he fit the description

of exactly what was needed. Too bad he is a complete

failure. It's too late now. We've already signed

him to a contract. Guess we'll have to keep him.

If we had drafted any other player, he would have been

right there when we drafted in the second round, perhaps

not drafted at all and we could have offered him a

free tryout at camp!!

Graymule, I've been wanting to ask you how long you've lived in "the mountains."

I recently received a nice offer to move to Charlotte, but found myself turning it down because I don't wanna leave these old hills.

I have a feeling you're of the same mind...
