I don't ever want to see Freije on the court again

I wasn't that disappointed with Freije... except when he got his spot in the corner and missed three in a row...

But he's not awful.. He's slightly above Bad.

I thought his thing was being a great shooter? I'm getting frustrated with him too. If he can't knock down open jumpers I can't see what he gives us over Batman. He did get some defensive rebounds.

He's not "good", but what do people expect? We have 3 main rotation guys (2 starters) injured, a starter suspended, and our rookie starter/rotation guy hampered by a bum shoulder.

After that early three went in I was hoping he'd start to get the groove back, but obviously he stayed cold. Still, he helped the team with a couple boards and 4 assists. He's a deep rotation player, any contribution is positive. I have a feeling that he and Salim have been instructed that when they're in the game, look for your jumpers. These guys are streaky, but they can both score when they're on.

If nothing else, his minutes early on helped keep someone fresh to finish out a really tough game in the end.

Mechanically, he has a very good looking shot. It just clanked every time. At Vanderbilt, he was a much better scorer...

But that doesn't matter now. Maybe more reps will get him in better basketball shape.

good points sheed. i'd like to see him actually take it up strong inside. i've seen him get fouled but not get a call, probably because he's so soft around the basket.

He could use some weight training for sure. He's a young guy, could be a decent role player for us at a cheap price. He's been cold all year, but as Diesel pointed out he has a solid stroke.

He makes me nervous on the court, but I think he has enough to potential to keep around for a while.
