Trade #3 Pick for Bynum

As crazy as this sounds, I think BK might pull an upset with the #3 Pick.

After the Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs, Kobe publicly asked for instant help. Granted that Kobe was a big factor on the Shaq trade, there's a chance that the person with the most value would be Bynum (they have Kwame Brown).

I can imagine Lakers, Timberwolves, and Hawks 3 way deal.

Hawks Trade: Lue, Childress, and #3 Pick

Hawks Receive: Bynum and (?)

In turn, Hawks sit tight and wait for the first available PG at #11.

I'm telling you, the Hawks will heavily recruit a private workout with

You are right. Bynum is a big ass project. Does he even start for the Lakers. But you would trade the world for him and put him in our starting lineup.

well bynum isn't any more of a gamble than any of the big men in this years draft. at least with bynum you know he's improving and you've seen him against the best of the nba. this years draft is going to be hit or miss and with the hawks draft history i'm leaning towards miss. so the trade doesn't seem like such a far fetched idea to me.

however the lakers won't do it. i mean they wouldn't even trade the kid for kidd (no pun intended)

They wouldn't then but I think they regret that decision now. They might consider moving him for the right deal this offseason. If they are excited about any of the lottery prospects, that could work out very well.

The Lakers problem with Bynum is that he's so young and they need to win right away. Who could they get at #3 who would be further along than Bynum?

I don't know who they like but if another team like Minnesota, Memphis, etc. was moving a veteran piece that team might value the #3 pick more than Bynum and we could get in on a three way deal at that point.
