NJHAWK
I signed up for a league on nba.com but got my draft time email too late and missed my draft. I got no Hawks on my team and I wont have it so I made the following moves which will process tomorrow at 12pm. #1 I dropped Delonte West for A.C.LAW. #2. I dropped Kyle Korver for Al Horford. Then I proposed the following trades which I have yet to hear back from. I offered Ray Allen for JOE JOHNSON and I offered Boris Diaw for Marvin Williams. My ? is since this is my 1st year playing Im not real sure if these are good or bad moves. I need Hawks on my squad to keep up interest. Are any of these real dumb moves fantasy wise? OGRat
Depends a lot on the rest of your team.
roezag
The JJ for Allen trade would work out very well for you if it processes, in my opinion. With Allen now the third option in that offense, I think JJ will put up better numbers across the board. Then again, I have been wrong before. NJHAWK
It is a head to head league. I will keep Korver but I want Law espec. with SPEEDY still having knee trouble. Here is my squad. MO WILLIAMS, RAY ALLEN, MANU, MARION, DUNCUN, ODOM, ZACH RANDOLPH, AL HARRINGTON, RUDY GAY, DELONTE WEST, PIETRUS, KORVER, DIAW, and DARKO. Now like I said IM dropping West for AC LAW who was not drafted. Im trying to trade for JJ using Ray Allen. Im also trying to get Marv with Diaw. Keeping in mind that I have to keep Al Harrington because he is the ONLY player I have that can be played at Center, who should I drop for Horford if anyone? Thanx for the help. Admin capstone21 Posted October 17, 2007 Admin Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 You do not want to have too many players from the same team on your fantasy roster.
OGRat
I believe that Duncan and Milicic also qualify at center. Isn't Pietrus hurt? I'd wait for AC's MRI results.
Admin capstone21 Posted October 17, 2007 Admin Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 It is actually a pretty solid squad. YOu are probably hurting the most in the assists department. Mo is your only real pg. I would definetly look into getting another pg...maybe target Andre Miller, Felton or TJ Ford. They get a lot of assists but will not cost you as much in trade as D Williams, Paul, Nash or Kidd would cost.
NJHAWK
The Law move already processed. I dropped Delonte West for him. I kept Korver and droped Darko for Al Horford. For some reason neither Timmy nor Darko could be a center. Al Horford however qualifies for center as well as pf/c and pf. I think Al will have a better year than Darko but maybe thats because Im a Hawks fan.
Admin capstone21 Posted October 17, 2007 Admin Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 I would have kept Darko for his blocks alone and dropped Pietruis for Horford if you wanted Horford so bad.
Moderators AHF Posted October 18, 2007 Moderators Report Share Posted October 18, 2007 I wonder about Darko mentally after his outburst this summer. (You know you aren't a star when that doesn't make headlines.)
