ANOTHER PF?? He's a great talent, but we have other needs we'll need to address

like what a center?

if he falls to us in the second round i'd rather us draft him than to draft yet ANOTHER PROJECT CENTER like solomon jones just to watch woodson stash him on the bench.

Winning teams are praying he falls to them in the late first round. No way he slips by all the "winning teams" into the 2nd round. If he last to where Pop or Sloan pick....he is gone !

Team like the Spurs, Jazz, Lakers, Celtics, Cavs, and Magic could all really use a guy just like him.

The Jazz will say goodbye to Boozer after this year.

The Spurs need some youth in their frontcourt. K. Thomas is ancient and Tenacious T seems to be the kind of guy "old school" coaches like Pop and Sloan covet.

The Lakers will be losing Odum.

The Celtics have both Big Baby and Powe to resign. One of them are likely gone and KG will be 33 with a ton of mileage from playing 82 games since he was 18 years old.

The Magic would look more traditional with TH next to Howard. They may lose Turk this off season to FA.

I see "Tenacious T" going to championship level team and being a a solid contriutor.

Dude is a better athlete then he is given credit for. He was doing 360 windmill dunks in practice where the windmill came well below his hip.

I think it is deceptive, how good he is. But he does so many little things and has improved his outside shot. He will be a very good guy coming off the bench and maybe one of the sixth men for the teams you mentioned. Coaches will love him because he brings it every night and is not afraid to do the dirty work.

Read an article where his draft stock has fallen because his upside is less than a lot of others. But the other side of the coin is several of the guys that will be drafted where he goes may have more up side but whether reach it or not is another story.

I wouldnt touch him with a ten foot pole. They didnt become a great team until he took a lesser role. There are nba guys on that roster but he is not one of them. He will be a nice bench player in Europe.

Did you see him hit that 13 foot turn around J on the bigger and taller Michigan St. center ?That was an NBA move. People who compare him to Mark Madson don't have a clue. Mark could not hit that shot in his dreams.

He is closer to a Nick Collison with more bulk.

People who say he in not athletic have not seen his 360 windmill dunk where he brings the windmill below his hip. This kid is no stiff like Sheldon Williams. His verticle will suprise people at the combine.

He boxes out extremely well allowing his teamates to get a lot of their rebounds.

I wish his head could go into Josh Smith's body. He would be a 10 time allstar !

You never saw Madsen in college did you?

Same person, maybe Hansbrough has better dance moves? I doubt it, Mad Dog was jamming out in those Laker's parades.

Ya Right ! I do not recall Madsen hitting 13 foot turn around - fade aways on 7 footers. He was uncoordinated, stiff, and goofey on offense. He had no game outside of 5 feet from the basket.

Remember that Hansbrough started his senior season hurt and played his way into shape. He will get to the FT line alot and his 84% FT shooting is remarkable for a young 255 pounder.

I am not saying that TH should be a lottery pick. I am just saying there is no way he last into the 2nd round.

Remember that Hansbrough started his senior season hurt and played his way into shape.

Try and remember that Madsen was also hurt his senior season. Madsen had similar moves to Hansbrough against NCAA competition, if you don't see that then its because you never saw Madsen outside of a box score.

TH was also hurt his senior season with a stress related injury to one of his feet (If I recall correctly). He spent the first month playing limited minutes to get himslef back in shape.

I saw Madsen in college ( actually loved watching his style of play) but never remember a turn around fade away being part of his game or a mid range jumper. I remember him as as bruiser who bullied collegiate players in the paint where he scored all of his points and got all of his rebounds by out muscling people. Hence, the nickname Mad Dog.

I simply think TH is more skilled then Madsen was............hence the Collison comparison.

Roy Williams would be a nice guy to ask considering he coached both Collison and Hansbrough.

I would also like to hear his take on Hinrich, Felton and Lawson........since he also coached all of them. I would be curious to know, if behind closed doors, he rates Lawson head and shoulders above the other two.

Hondo was one of the most athletic players of his era.

If Hansborough plays for a good team he will shine. If he winds up with the Hawks he will suck. Some teams know how to develop players and have players fill roles. The Hawks, Not So Much...................
