You can't pretend to be the Jolly Basketball Giant and then spit the kind of venom he's been spewing the last week or so. Is he getting cranky in his old age?

He got embarassed a bit watching the replay of Howard schooling him over and over on Sportscenter and resented Van Gundy for calling him out on an obvious flop. After years of Shaq complaining about people flopping, it was definitely surprising to me to see that play.

I like how he 'invented' all Howard's moves. Russell, Wilt, Moses and a host of others probably would disagree with that.

He reminds me of an aging male animal that is trying to maintain his dminance from younger challengers. He's holding his own but he won't be top dog for ever.
