No one should have expected him to be at level of:

Marbury after part of a season off healthy 4.4 PER

Penny after a year off with injury 13.9 PER

Birdman after playing 37 games in 3 years 18.1 PER

He couldn't afford a trainer to stay in playing shape like those guys...

Marbury has been humbled. Marbury looked good with the Celtics. Marbury is a PG who can break down a defense. Marbury plays more defense than Bibby and really, Marbury will be very cheap. He just wants to play. I say you bring in Marbury and let Acie learn from Marbury and you get some offensive coach to coach pick and roll.

Sure, why not? We don't have an offense.. we only need a PG that can score. Marbury does that, and if he's cheap, why not take the risk?
