Joe decides to throw up a shot over three Bucks instead of passing the ball to a wide open Horford under basket. It's like he rather shoot the ball over three defenders than pass the ball to an open teammate. Joe has to be the most selfish player in the 4th quarter. The real elite players in the leauge understand drawing defenders than passing to an open teammate.

yeah its not like he had 13 assists in the last game. It isn't like he was scoring at will against the Bucks. It isn't like Marvin and Smith were making dumb turnovers.

Please. JJ is the one who passed to a wide open Smith for a jumper late in the game. Now THAT was a mistake.

Seriously there was nobody around. He was right there and let their pg get it wtf.

So was JJ. The difference is that the Hawks made no adjustments to stop it.

Well, Salmons 32 points... JJ 27.

JJ committed the stupid foul that allowed 2 free throws and JJ was the one that came up short around the rim.

Winner:John Salmons.

That foul was terrible. He was clearly mugging the guy... How did he not realize he was going to get called for a foul? Strange.

Um, Joe should never pass the ball to a wide open Josh in the corner unless he's double teamed and the shot clock is about to run out. Also Josh should NEVER hang out in the corner like that. That's two straight games Josh has hung out in the corner with the game on the line. SMH! If Josh's BBIQ was higher he would understand that if he rotated to the basket he would open a lane for Joe (if by some miracle Joe passes the ball) to receive a pass for an easy basket.

FINALLY! SOMEONE ON THIS BOARD THAT HAS A BRAIN! Joe goes into ~HERO MODE~ and it fails 9 out of 10 times.

That someone will never, ever be you.

JJ was the reason the hawks had a chance to win the game. He was punking them totally until the last two plays.

But he couldn't seal the deal. That foul.... That sticks out way more than that missed shot.

It never fails to amaze me that the players on this team have no self-awareness. Josh stops shooting 3's only to continue to shoot jumpers that he still can't make. Maybe by season 10 he will realize that he shouldn't take jumpers at all.

JJ played 46 minutes last night in addition to his 38 tonight. i would guess he was a little tired, especially since he was carrying the Hawks on his back late in the game.

Some of the hawks stupidity can be traced directly to the coach.

Being tired doesn't excuse that silly foul. That's a foul you would make if you were trying to foul intentionally. It's not like the ref blew the whistle right away... Joe just kept on hacking until the foul was called. I know he was trying to deny him the ball, but he was far too aggressive and even had a chance to lay off before the foul was called and he didn't do it.

He may have thought the Hawks had a foul to give and so he decided to play aggressively. the announcers were saying the hawks had only 3 team fouls. i wouldn't be surprised if the coaches made a mistake.
