What if Jamal Crawford wants to be the starting PG?

Jamal has every reason to want to play as many minutes as he can.

Why wouldn’t he try to become the starting PG in the training camp?

Can anyone stop him if he wants to win it?

Really it's, "Can he stop anyone if he wants to win it?" If so, with vastly improved defensive effort, he'll have an outside shot.

Also helping tremendously in his favor is if Jordan Crawford is ready offensively for a sixth-man role.

But it appears the job is Teague's to lose, first and foremost.

He has bought into his role as a 6th man. It has rejuvenated his career and he pretty much plays starter minutes anyway. I don't see why he will demand to start anyway

He is by far the best option. His passing is far from "mediocre" (I have no idea where that comes from). Teague is the third best option at present. His has always been an outstanding player and had significant minutes at the point each and every year. It is not a stretch but more a no-brainer considering the roster.

why would jamal want to go to the first team where he would have to share the ball with the others when he could stay on the second team and be at worst the second option?
