On the subject of the thread: I think you'll need more than feeling (see below) to get the Hawks to make a move at this point. Our only major trade chips are Josh (whose value is impaired greatly by his trade kicker) and Jamal's expiring contract. I just don't see how that's enough to land an impact player this year. I think we need an impact player in order for the deal to be worth it, both financially and on the court.

I remember a rumor that went around earlier concerning Nash to Atlanta and it said that ASG didn't want to give up Marvin in the deal.

Well, thinking it through:

Nash/Hill for Marvin/Bibby/1st works.

Marvin is an upgrade over all of their forwards. Bibby played his college ball in Arizona. The only thing is that this doesn't help their cap.
