That the Warriors would like to acquire Smoove is not really news, is it? The Mercury News writer does not even allege that there have been talks ("Warning: Don't get your hopes up," I believe he said.)

Curry and Beans for Smith and Teague works salary wise as well as giving them a young PG in return. Beans would be an upgrade for us at C compared to Collins so we could have Al at the 4. It would also save about $1.2 million in salary for this year so we might be inclined to use our Childress trade exception to acquire a little more bench help.

Not getting my hopes up but man I'd give up Smith all day to acquire an All-Star caliber PG who hasn't even scratched the surface yet like Curry.

Why would we trade Smoove? He is beat! Get rid of Marvin, Bibby, Mo, Zaza people who are getting paid and have no future with this team. Horf, Smoove and JJ have a future. Marvin makes a few MM less than Smoove and is not as valuable but a 1st round pick would change that.

I'm sorry I still don't get it. why on earth would you trade Josh smith for Curry? YOU GET WORST! How is Marvin better at small forward than Josh at PF or SF for that matter. Yeah Marvin is a better mid range shooter but Josh is simply better. What happened when Marvin does his disappearing act? Since when is curry an allstar calibar pg? Yeah he can get buckets but so can jamal crawford and jr smith, and better. Hype machine needs to die. His defense is ordinary at best, he's not the quickest, but he can shoot. is he better than our crop of pgs, yes. But not for Josh. Some of you want to trade josh just for the sake of trading him even if it's for an over hyped player like curry. I' d rather do my best to get rid of Marvin and just run Joe at the point than trade josh for curry and keep marvin lol. What lineup is more productive and dangerous, one with curry and marvin in it or one with josh and curry in it?

Exactly. Those three guys are the team. All other could and should be on the block. You build the team around those guys. I would rather trade Crawford for Nash than Josh for Curry. I know I bench would stink but I would try my darnedest to get Nash for beans (marvin, mo ect..lol) before trading Jamal. If not I would have to think long and hard about that decision. But Josh for Curry, YUCK!

15 posts for something that doesn't have legs. Come on guys, I know some of you want Smoove gone but this doesn't make us better or even close to it. There is a reason why GS is bad and Curry is a worst defender than Bibby. Not to mention AB has been pretty bad and has less productive than most marginal centers.

No he's not, not even close right now and I watch a lot of GS games because they come on late while I am working on different task. There is a reason I've changed tune on Smoove and it's because of his impact and value to this team.

These are just videos of him getting crossed over but I watch him often and his defense is really poor. Bibby is just slow and nonathletic at this stage, he usually gives the effort and stick with his man unless it's someone who's too fast.

Marvin clumsy, this dude is just snake bitten. I like him but not for Smoove. At most someone like Crawford which wouldn't help them. I wouldn't trade Smoove to get worst.
