Im watching the NBA Finals right now and I think he would be a good replacement if we cant resign Jamal Crawford. How do you feel about him?

He would be okay for portion of the MLE, but Dallas will be able to pay him more than we can. So, I doubt it is even worth too much back and forth

Yes, I would do that but only after trying to see if we could move Marvin with someone for a more significant piece

Very good point. He's a complimentary player with inconsistent perimeter shooting at best. He wouldn't work here.

Stevenson is not out there for offense. He is out there for defense. He and Marion held Lebron James to 8 points for crying out loud.

Role players like Stevenson only work when your stars are consistent

He simply needs scorers around him. He is a very good defender and has been since he played for Sloan in Utah. The Mavericks star (Dirk) was anyting but consistent (shot 30%) last night but it "still worked" b/c of great team defense.

A role player who defends like Stevenson should be welcomed on any team.

If the Hawks could get him for a cheap price, they should get him. He isn't an offensive threat but he plays hard on defense and has a ton of heart. He's the kind of player the Hawks need.

And we don't have a scorer anywhere near the caliber of Nowitzki. Stevenson would fizzle out here and would be just another body that takes up space.
