But how is it worth it to suck for one talented rookie when 15 other teams are also getting one talented rookie and the other 15 teams don't need a top 16 pick beacuse they already have good players? You aren't making up any ground against the rest of the league, you're treading water. And you will have sucked so free agents won't consider you. Put together a decent team then trade up into the lottery.
