ATLscrubLove
There are 4 teams that has expressed interest in Monta... Hawks, Mavs, Kings, and Bobcats. He doesn't want to go to the Bobcats and I'm hearing the Kings lost interest. Mavs apparently aren't in the market for a guard, especially not at this price http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/mavericks/post/_/id/4696930/dont-expect-monta-ellis-to-be-a-maverick ATL may be his only logical destination, maybe he lowers his price for a one year deal to play with us... He was dumb enough to not accept that nice extension the Bucks were offering earlier this year. Wouldn't mind him at half his "going rate"
NBASupes
Both Monta and Jennings are track to lose if Atlanta chooses to go with the other. Both need to either take a paycut or by force take a MAJOR paycut.
Admin capstone21 Posted July 10, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 I don't want Monta but especially if he is seen as a pg. That will be a mess. At least if he is a pg we won't make the playoffs and may end up winning Wiggins
DatWerkk
Heard that the Bulls were also interested at one point. Not sure why they would do that to themselves though.

Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted July 10, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Neither Jennings or Monta are franchise players and they should not be paid like one. I believe anything over $10 mil in this CBA for them would be crazy. Either at 3 yr/ $27 mil would be about right.

coachx
Since we already have Lou Williams .....I see no need for Monta Ellis. We only need one undersized SG / 6th man.Not to mention Lou is half the price and half the head ache.
