I'm sure more teams would be come calling after he sat on the market and his contract demands were lowered by the market. However, for 4 years at $54 mill only the Pistons were interested.

I would have loved to get Asik though. I have a lot of respect for rebounders.

I've said it before, I'll say it again... Andrew Bynum does not care about basketball. One of Ferry's best moves this off-season was not even offering him a contract.

Ferry basically said our doctors looked at him and we decided to pass.....sounds like a smart move to me..there is a reason he didnt want to work out for teams.

Now that ZaZa is gone we are going to have to get some rebounding off the bench. I think that Sap will do fine on the boards and Horf is a decent rebounder also, but the bench is lacking right now. It appears that DF is depending on the rookie, Muscala or whatever his name is. I think we need a vet rebounder though off the bench to replace Zaza.
