WraithSentinel
With the Falcons being officially knocked out today(literally and figuratively). No sense to keep him on this team anymore. He could still net the team at worst a 2nd rounder or perhaps a 1st say from the Chiefs.
EazyRoc
He won't net that much for one season. I'd say a 4th at best.
Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted October 28, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 KC would be the only respectable place to trade Tony. Anywhere else would be a slap in his face for coming back. Tony should retire with the Falcons or Chiefs, that's it. TD made this bed for the Falcons, now he has to lay in it. Moderators macdaddy Posted October 28, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 Still saying he doesn't want to be traded but its not as emphatic as it was last week. The Falcons are bad and it seems playoffs are way out of the picture now. I'd think they'd ask him and if he says yes send him over there.
AmishBoy
Too bad you don't play in the NFC East. You'd still have a chance.

WraithSentinel
From what I am reading right now. It doesn't appear Falcons will trade Tony. Pretty low of the Falcons if they don't trade him to a contender. He has done everything we could have ask of him since he got here. Now in his final season and you know damn well this team isn't going anywhere. The least they could do is send him off to a contender. I agree we have nothing to gain by him staying for this train wreck season. Don't see why they wouldn't give him the choice though.

The least they could do is send him off to a contender.I disagree with that sentiment - the reason to trade him would be to get value in return that helps the teams in the long run, not because it's 'poor Tony he deserves to be on a contender.'He might be more valuable to the falcons in assisting the young TE's. I think It sends the wrong message to the young players (which we have so many of), keep him and it shows them that although you are losing you still prepare for games like professionals. But like I said to start - if the return you get in trading him is something you want then go for it.
