Sorry, I bout fell out of my chair the other day when I found out that he didn't make it in this year.  What?

As I look over Career stats...  It's Rice, Moss, and Owens... everywhere.

They never caught him using Steroids.   Therefore, he should be in based on Merit.

IF Tim Brown and Cris Carter got in, T.O. should be in.

No doubt he was hurt by the attitude and off-the-field negative press.  He'll get in sooner than Brown and Carter did.  I expect a lot of the voters just hate him on a personal level.

This is the problem with the system.  It's based on feelings and not based on what a player did.  Honestly, coming off of surgery, he was the only bright spot in the Eagles Super Bowl.   When he went to Dallas, he basically had a target on his back.  I just believe that he made some early mistakes with attitude and they followed him.   Actually, the same can be said about Cam Newton now.   I wonder if people will look past his accomplishments and only see attitude??

I'm particularly interested to see how he does next year. Sometimes the voters use politics more on whether someone is a "first ballot" HOFer and are more forgiving the next time around.
