Plainview1981
Since I live here in Georgia I don't get to see all Titans games....Do you guys think Tyrone Calico can be a top NFL WR? He seems to be pretty quick and alot of his catches where big ones this year. http://football.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6396 From what I've seen...This guy has alot of potential...What do you guys think? KB21
Yes. He's big and very fast. He's right at 6-5, 230 lbs and can run a sub 4.4 forty. He's going to be a very good receiver along the lines of Terrell Owens, hopefully without the attitude.
Plainview1981
It seems like he can outrun almost anybody and he might need to work on his hands abit...but he just seems to have so much potential....I hope he's starting by the middle of next season. Drew Bennett and Justin McCariens make some good catches...But McNair and Mason would both benefit from a burner like this guy.
DJ_Money
Calico became a hot prospect at last year's combine when he put up that 4.4 forty time. Scouts love a guy with size and speed. Like you said, the big question mark with him was his hands. I think he will get past that and become a very good NFL WR. It remains to be seen though, if he will get the chance with Mason, Bennett, and McCareins there. Speaking of McCareins, I know he's a RFA, heard anything up there on whether he will be resigned? Anyway...if you're looking for a guy to pull a Calico at the combines this year, put your money on Johnnie Morant from Syracuse.
Plainview1981
I just remember him being quick and his knack to make some big catches but drop some easy ones.... I dunno if McCariens will be kept or not. I suspect that Eddie George will be gone or have to accept a reduced pay...I think the team would be just as glad to go with Chris Brown if George doesn't workout. I could also see Kevin Carter being gone since Carlos Hall is a pretty good defensive end..... Getting rid of Eddie George and Kevin Carter would help with salary alot. cyman3
was easily a top 5 RB... now, he may be the worst starting RB in the league..... wat happened?
Weez
surgery/injury. the dude's still strong as an ox, but living in nashville and being forced to watch every titans game ~ George has absolutely no lateral mobility/quickness. He's forced to just brute his way up the middle like a fullback...that he's not. btw, why is this thread here and not in "other sports?"
Plainview1981
And he stands and waits for a whole too long at times. And the Titans offensive line is a pass blocking line and has been since Bruce Matthews retired.
