BigDog90
Big win over the Thunder tonight. The NBA has changed since Dwight was dominating the league in his prime. Small ball seems to be the way to go. Dwight would dominate backup centers.

You quickly forget that it was Dwight that dominated Toronto just a few days ago, in a bigger road win. Millsap, Howard, and Dennis are doing what they're supposed to do. It's consistency from the wings, that are the major issue with this team.

They could always start Dwight against bigger teams like CLE, TOR, WAS, etc.

They have legit C height, Sap is even undersized at the 4!
Gray Mule
No! But an old axium applies here: "It's not the size of the dog in the fight BUT the size of the fight in the dog!" Hawks win with Millsap at center last night in spite of the fact that he was shorter than his opponent ! Sometimes you just gotta do what you've gotta do. Our opponent had no time to game plan about this.

Bankingitbig
I don't want to break Millsap by having him play Center for 30+ minutes every game. I think using the small lineup in various circumstances and stretches is good though and Bud has been doing that lately.

The Team has to learn to play to everybody's strength. Playing with Sap at C is just going back to the small ball that we are used to doing. It's not better, it's just familiar. We have to become more familiar with winning with Paul and Dwight on the floor together.

Moderators Popular Post AHF Posted December 20, 2016 Moderators Popular Post Report Share Posted December 20, 2016 We strained the hell out of our team in terms of the tightened rotation, minutes and matchups against larger, more physical players. Glad for us it worked out for the night but it is not a long-term solution as our default lineup. It is good experience for something we can switch to under the right game circumstances.
