Good bridge type player...3/4 guy that handles well, drives and shoots pretty well and plays hard. At the right price in a retool situation, we could do worse.

... has been a disappointing fat-a** every year except last year with the Heat, in a contract year.  EZPass

Give me Ersan Gangsta-Sova as the 'bridge guy'.

Funny how he and Waiters both had great years after less than that and its the contract year for both. Half glass full says Spoelstra actually woke them up and made teammates for good out of them. But being contract years, figure the odds.

I was on board before the Heat days, when he was buried on Toronto's bench and could have been picked up for nothing.  He's not a star by any means but he can handle,  hit the 3 and most importantly guard multiple positions on the perimeter.  He'll likely return to Miami with a bloated contract.

Pat Riley whipping these guys into shape and in a contract year is a red flag - pass for the kind of money they'll get.

This was the most interesting thing in the article though....

He can't rebound and he is 30 so its not like he is a young up and coming player ... he has plateau'd already

Yeah, Hawks shouldn't target anybody over the age of 27.
