Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted January 7, 2020 Moderators Report Share Posted January 7, 2020 I'm only adding to the speculation since nothing has been formally confirmed by a family member or team official, but the Luanda metropolitan area suffered through some pretty bad flooding over the weekend. http://www.angop.ao/angola/en_us/noticias/sociedade/2020/0/2/Rain-leaves-one-dead-250-families-homeless-Luanda,b0275dc0-8800-4724-91ab-1e335b06c283.html The sole fatality in the article was a seven-year old swept away by the flooding. Quote Luanda - One dead and 250 dislodged families is the balance of the rain that befell Luanda last Saturday, according to data given last Sunday by the Executive Secretariat of the Provincial Civil Protection Commission. Luanda the city is the country's largest and the provincial and national capital. The dense port city sits against the Atlantic Ocean and has been prone to deadly flooding events in the past couple decades. http://floodlist.com/africa/angola-floods-luanda-january-2020 ~lw3 2
