Popular Post Wurider05
The main reason is that you have to account for every guy on the court offensively. We check damn near every box you can check!! Slashers Shot Creators who can create for others guys who can create their own shots Mid range Scorers (guys who can score on all 3 levels) Finishers 3 point shooters post defenders perimeter defenders length speed athleticism we can play fast we can play slow Buying into the team concept. If Danilo hadn't gotten hurt in the Nets game we be up 2-0 on them. You can tell that they had no answer for him. Another thing that I notice is that they keep coming and coming offensively. Almost like Jason from the Friday the 13th movies............totally relentless. We still haven't seen Big O or Chris Dunn. Probably the biggest thing is that they look like they are having fun out there. Edited January 2, 2021 by Wurider05 8
Popular Post NBASupes
Yep, I saw this potential before the season started. That's why I was on here saying 50 wins is possible

It's early, but mostly every concerned we had from last year is being addressed, from rebounding, defense, shooting, to coaching. I like our core...lol.
Popular Post kg01
CLP isn't getting enough credit for the start so far. I expected a huge feeling-out (hehe) period but guys are playing like they've been here a couple years already. Some missteps have happened but, for the most part, the incorporations have been virtually seamless (all things considered). On another note, anybody else finding it exhausting swatting all the nonsense on realgm? My gard people are stupid. I thought it was bad when we lost and people clearly didn't watch but still comment about us. But it's 10 times worst when we win. Friggin narratives are flying all over the place. The general board is like 40% Hawks related. I got your back @marco102but I jus' ..... I need a water break. Geez 1 1
Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted January 2, 2021 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 2, 2021 Quote Atlanta isn’t a great team yet, but the Hawks are trending in the right direction. They needed to solve the minutes when Young had to sit, and they’ve done far with a combination of mostly Bogdanovic and Huerter, plus Reddish and Hunter are growing in this area. They needed to solve their shooting problems after being the worst 3-point shooting team in the league, and they have a top-five 3-point shooting team. The defense is still a work in progress, but Reddish and Hunter have grown in Year 2. Young is more engaged than ever on that end of the floor. Collins has taken another step forward. Getting Capela up to speed will allow us to have a proper gauge of where the Hawks might end up being defensively long term. This is a team that opposing teams should not want to face in the playoffs because the Hawks are dangerous and really good.
