In celebrating the movies of Martin Scorsese,   I want to know your top 5.  Here's the list:

Sorry, I can't vote.  I've never watched any of these movies, therefore I have no idea.

Going with my personal favorite 5 not in any particular order (and not making any attempt to justify relative to other classics):

Taxi Driver

Shutter Island

Wolf of Wall Street

Goodfellas

The Departed

2. After hours
3. gangs of new york
4. departed

 

After hours is super underrated in my opinion.

I think it's pretty easy for me to identify my top 4, but top 5 is a little tricky.

1.  Goodfellas (best movie ever made IMO)

2. Raging Bull (not far behind Goodfellas in that category)

3.  Taxi Driver (another ATG)

4.  Casino (not at quite the level of the other 3, but I love the material so much since it deals with Chicago mob and the Spilotro family)

5.  Mean Streets (gotta give credit to the one that started Scorcese's mob movie making)

After Hours

King of Comedy

Color of Money

It's evident that Scorsese loves DeNiro.

Also, I recently watched...American Hustle.  It felt like a Scorsese movie.
