Eh.  Perhaps it does take 5 years to become a complete player. Perhaps Quinn unlocks what people have been clamoring for....but for me, perhaps his Atlanta time needs to come to an end.  I'm just always on the fence and not in a good way when it comes to Hunter.

I don't know what it is with some players.  It's not that they are fearful, it's more like they missed something growing up.   That's what I see with DeAndre and Marvin.   Just missed something. 

 

Hunter is what I call a non proactive player, he likes to diagnose and be reactive to the defense vs being proactive and force the defense to react to him. He doesn't have a natural feel and instinct for the game. Hopefully under Quinn, we can see some improvement there.
And part of this play is experience. CC's experience: understands his guy is above the freethrow line, which means if DH can get by his guy with CCs guy not being in the paint, clear basket.
