That's a rough one.  I think OO is a very credible choice because you have to pick someone but 0 steals, 0 blocks, 13 points on 50% shooting, 9 rebounds, 2 assists...that isn't even an average game for OO.  During that critical 3rd quarter where we needed someone to step up and reverse momentum, he was 1-3 from the floor with 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 blocks, 0 steals.

(Real question is who else is deserving.  Hunter?  CC?  Bey?  Our frontcourt got run over by Mobley and they are all our player of the game candidates just for not having complete garbage lines.  OO is as good a choice as any of them I guess, but nobody played well.)

Hunter over OO perhaps ? Ya, it’s tough to pick a Hawks player when everybody played bad.

I choose Hunter as well. Beyond the grit, this was one of the more aggressive games I've seen from Hunter. He was attacking every time he had the ball, even after he came back from the injury.

True, on second… and third thought and persuaded by you fine folks here at squawk the recap was updated.  

Also, OO needs to give more. He’s slacking a bit even undersized, get up and swat those shots like you did Embiid and Giannis in 2020 as a rook, he had declined.
