This guy isn't gonna be the savior for this team, even as he matures he's gonna likely be behind JJ in the pecking order. That's a high level second or third option right there

Can he be better than Capela last year? We weren't even expecting a a rotational piece with this pick realistically. Now we have the #1. Enjoy it.

I am pissed. This feels like those back to back blown leads by 20 losses. 

This is literally the worst case scenario. I didn't want Sarr on the board at all to be an option. That's how much I loathed him

The fact that they got Kobe last year helps add gaurd versatility too. Gonna be interesting what happens with OO, Hunter, and AJ. Safe to assume Murray is probably gone too.

I am enjoying it, I'm loving it. Its a good thing that a guy as talented as he is won't be expected to carry the torch yet.

Sarr don't play tough. I watched a number of his games. I've been going at Sarr supporters necks for months, if you want to know my level of pissed. It's over 11000

 

My dislike for Sarr supercede my like for Edey.

It's not that. He's more skilled than Dereck Lively.  Saying he's a power forward isn't a bad thing. He is a power forward in the sense that Anthony David is. Yeah, you can play him at Center, but to me he's a PF that can play next to a center.

things don't happen randomly.. Hawks get #1 in the weaker draft years.. Adam makes the real picks we all know that

One of Lively's initial draft profile from April 2023 (SI) had him at 215lbs.

He’s a modern center, which means he has the versatility to play power forward and center.

We need the best POA defender or best frontcourt defender

 

You can be mad all you want but we need the best defender in the draft
