Dont forget Walker/Pierce in Boston right now.....definitely McHale/Bird is the greatest tandem ever though.....man were they scary. Think about how great Boston used to be that McHale was a 6th man for a couple of his early seasons. I doubt we will ever see 3 great teams at the same time like Boston, LA, Detroit were in the 80s.

Rahim and GRob as the 4th best forward combo in history?? I really hope this is a joke. They aren't even the 4th best forward combo in the NBA RIGHT NOW.

1. Webber/Stojakovic

2. Nowitzki/Finley

3. Garnett/Wally

4. Walker/Pierce

5. Brand/Odom

Best of the rest(no particular order): Dyess/Spree, Rahim/GRob, Duncan/whoever.

Rahim/Big Dog vs. Dirk/Finely.

I'll give that nod to Dirk/Finley... But isn't Finley a SG?

Didn't they spend most of the yr with Howard = PF, Dirk = SF, and Finley = Gaurd?

Then after the trade, didn't they move Nejera to PF?

I mean if Finley was a Sf, why would they need Lewis?

Webber/Stojo vs. SAR/big DOg.

It's tight. but I give that nod to Webber and Stojo. My mind is filled with Webber disappearing and Stojo missing the big Shot.

gARNETT/Wally vs. SAR/Big Dog.

Come on. Big Dog is better than Wally and KG is only a little better than SAR.

Walker/Pierce vs. SAR/Big Dog.

Hey, Boston... Can somebody please get a rebound. Uhm... Suns fan... Did you happen to check the FG% of these two in Boston. They have probably the two worst FG% for Starters in the NBA. However, they prove that if you take combined 55 shots, you can average over 20 each. Give me a laugh break huh?

Brand/Odom vs. Big Dog/SAR.

While Brand is a solid player. Odom is what weakens them. Not that he does anything bad. It's just that he does nothing well. When Odom was not the only option on offense, he averaged 13 ppg in 35 mpg. He rebounds some... Less than 5 per game. He gets about 2 apg. He does nothing well.

On the other hand... There is BIG DOG. ON a team full of talent he has always brought home 20 and 6. You may make the case for SAR/Brand being close to equal... However, Odom just cannot hold Big Dog's jock strap when he's not the only option.

I think on talent SAR has got Brand by alittle.Reef is a better

jumpshooter than Brand is and a better passer and is more

verstile in that he can play both Foward positions.I think

SAR has the edge on Brand.Reef can play too positions while

Brand can't play SF and there is noway he can play center

in the west.

Until Odom gets the job done for a full seasons winning Big

Dog is better.Big Dog has averaged 22/7 on a winning team

and don't give me the west stuff because this was in the

Lakers first title season I believe. This was before the west

really dumped ahead of the east.

SAR/Big Dog are better than Brand/Odom.Odom has been

effective one season? Is that really enough proof? He only

averaged 13PPG last year.

Saying 4 in history is pushing it..

1)Bird/McHale

2)Pippen/Grant

3)Nique/Willis

4)Detlef/Kemp

5)Worthy/Green

6)Drexler/Barkley-I know they were both passed their primes but still had numbers

7)Jeff Malone/Karl Malone?

8)Adreian Dantley/Karl Malone

Those aren't in order...but are some good ones.
