I literally said all of that lol

I don’t know about that one. Roberson reportedly had the avulsion fracture in Nov 2018 (while still recovering from an injury in Jan) and he didn’t play again until Aug 2020. Obviously he had other issues, but he definitely wasn’t good to go in 6 weeks. I really hope Bogi has nothing in common with Roberson.

Anything like that with the knee makes me think his season is over, but I hope I’m wrong.

We're cursed and these young PGs have snatched Trae's soul.

I definitely feel better with Bogi in the lineup right now. Cam needs to take a step back and regroup.

He turned it over like 6 times in the first quarter. What point is that proving? That the Hawks can't win 4 vs. 6? Anyway, these stories usually get blown out of proportion. Hopefully this is another instance of that and the team gets back on track Saturday.

I get we're all bummed about Trae right now, but come on...

True, but Saturday is an immediate rematch. That's what everyone wants coming off of a loss. They better not squander it. Especially Trae.

Cool. How many points did he score in the NBA?

I will criticize Rayford, though. I can't stand these NBA stage dads living vicariously through their infinitely more talented children. He might be worse than Tito.

Things are bad right now, but I'm going to wait to see how they respond on Saturday before I waste energy criticizing.

Remember when finding enough minutes for all of our NBA players was a concern?

It is just ego. From a marketing standpoint I think it would be a huge boon. Everyone would be talking about you. There would be jokes, but even more praise for putting your ego aside.

Very special circumstances in this case. Not that losing was a given, obviously, just that it's not surprising.

I was saying it before the game. I was mostly pleased with the first half, especially Capela, but we weren't able to stretch out our lead when it felt like we were thoroughly outplaying them. They didn't quite have that push to get them over the top.

This result was easy to see coming after the energy they poured into the Brooklyn set. Rondo or Gallo would have been a godsend tonight.

Official Game Thread: Hawks at Nets (Game 2 of 2)

The Hawks are making a lot of people look really stupid. Hopefully they avoid the letdown against Cleveland. That backcourt can drop 60 on you if you're not careful.- 170 replies

Lol no one in the history of the world has shot a fadeaway that resembles that.

When guys are directly trailing him and he pumps the brakes then that’s a clear foul IMO. The one where he jumps back to either side is BS, but it’s not Trae’s fault if the refs call it. I do worry about Trae playing too much for the whistle. It feels like he has only made a few jumpers since the opener. But it’s still very early.

That was about the most tolerable loss for a non-tanking team I can remember. I wish they fouled Allen when they had the opportunity, but oh well. It will be interesting to see how both teams respond on Friday.- 471 replies

He shoots better from the corners, sure, but otherwise he's better from deeper. Last season he shot .250 from 22-24 feet (excluding corners), .351 from 25-29, and .362 from 30+.- 398 replies

He is statistically an above average 3pt shooter from 30+ feet and that's something defenders are forced to respect. It's a net positive and it helps enable Trae to do all the crazy things we've seen him do. Plus Lillard has proven you can even be a great 40+% shooter from that range. Something to aspire to.- 398 replies

Pretty ho-hum game outside of Bogi's shooting and the absolute clinic Rondo put on. Rondo being my favorite player on the court was probably the wildest thing that happened all year.- 398 replies

What jinx? I didn't say it should be virtually impossible for a respectable team to lose at home to a team led by Jerami Grant.
