    Cam is simultaneously smooth as hell and kind of a klutz. He's a young guy who is supposedly still growing so it's not surprising he doesn't have the best body control. But the presence of the smoothness bodes well for the future.

    Nothing unexpected for the first game in 9 months. It will say a lot of if we can come back on Sunday and really stick it to them.

    It seems LP is going to hold off naming Cam or Hunter the starter. Makes sense.

    I don't expect any of them to play 30 minutes. We have 7 guys who deserve minutes at the 2 or 3. Not counting a potential Rondo/Trae duo or Gallo at the 3. I honestly think Huerter might be fighting just to get 20 minutes. We'll see.

    I could be wrong, but I don't think that's what it means. I think it will be like the Braves games where Bob and Nique will be calling the game from State Farm Arena while watching the home team's feed.

    It’s not 1920, bro. You didn’t have to be in Houston to see Westbrook play.

    Westbrook was playing some of the best ball of his career in Jan/Feb before the shutdown. Nothing like Josh Smith. Wall can't compete with that version of Westbrook, but he can certainly compete with bubble Westbrook.

    I remember talking about how untradeable Westbrook, Wall, and CP3 were last offseason, but I guess it works if you trade them for each other. CP3 turned himself back into an asset, though, so good for him. I think this trade probably makes life slightly harder for the Hawks, but it hopefully won't matter.

    I like how in your attempt to blame LP for all of our defensive issues you ended arguing that our entire roster was made up of bad defensive players. You're a special talent, Peo.

    The Rockets were a game away from a championship with 6'5 PJ Tucker playing the 4 and occasionally the 5. All they had to do was not miss 27 straight 3's.

    Why don't teams play with 5 7-footers if being taller than the opposition is the only meaningful advantage?

    Finding an opposing fan who is knowledgeable about the Hawks is like finding a unicorn. The average fan is already dumb when it comes to popular teams and we've been completely out of the spotlight for a few years.

    I don't know why some of you have such difficulty accepting that some players can play more than 1 position depending on the matchup. I would rather have Hunter defending a 4 like Gallo instead of JC.

    Dunn and Capela are going to be such nice additions to our late game defensive lineups. Dunn/Cam could end up being the stingiest duo in the league.

    You say things like all he does is rim run, he doesn't do anything to help you win, coaches will never let him into the ASG, he only deserves 4/80, etc. I don't like the idea of paying him the max either, but he's a better player than you give him credit for. I still remember you thinking he wasn't starting caliber after his rookie year and you've been underrating him ever since.

    You say other people can't speak rationally about JC, but you're always the one who gets frustrated and starts exaggerating.

    I actually do want Collins to play center in certain matchups. His spacing at the 5 is a powerful weapon and he can hold his own on the defensive end against plenty of centers. People just remember the bad matchups like vs. Embiid. Obviously we shouldn't see that anymore.

    Yeah, I definitely expect Huerter to be the odd man out. Hunter has the extra year, he's a better defender, and he's a 3/4.

    I feel like Huerter and Hunter are going to be competing this season to see who has a future on the team.
