The Falcons approached him, he said. Cameron, a life-long Atlantan, is a big-time Falcons fan. He has been a season ticket holder since 1998 when the Falcons lost in the Super Bowl to the Denver Broncos. “I have done travel and parties and trips on buses and trains and planes to New Orleans for more than 15 years as the No. 1 Saints hater of all time,” Cameron said. “For me to go from the stands to the mic is really a big deal to me.” While working with V-103, he also did the pre-game Falcons games for sister station 92.9/The Game for free in 2016-17.

Hawks will reduce concessions prices at Philips Arena (AJC) I wonder how this offsets the fee they're adding to all event tickets in the arena. Still, looks like a good move so far.

Word got around, including to an FBI informant. Michael Lawrence Dane McEarchern, 29, was sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday, according to federal court documents. McEarchern was in Bartow County jail during October on drug charges when he started circulating his want to hire a hitman. I'm most interested in seeing what the Hawks are after the All Star Break, and how the front office responds.

This guy lost alot of respect from me. Thought he would be a grinder right off those Florida teams, but didn't seem like the same guy after hurting both pects. Before that, I was excited about how he was expanding his range every offseason, but he and the team just felt different after that. The way he left was the straw that broke the camel's back though. Good riddance.

Billy was too damn stubborn. I wish the last ownership group (won't even say their name) had come into this with a genius GM instead of a used car salesman that only noticed one position on the floor. Not a fan of one guy being both coach and GM. Not Bud, not Dan Reeves, not Don Waddell. Get a bball guy that will focus on drafting talent and swinging trades. Not just soft but sawft!
