Buzzard
With the 5th pick, I think it will be Williams, Bargnani, or O Bryant. Dropping to the 5th spot really could be a blessing in disguise.
exodus
Bargnani will most likely go to Portland or Charlotte, assuming they keep their picks.
JJJ
Brandon Roy.
Buzzard
Quote: Brandon Roy. Maybe so, but he is really going to have to kick but in the workouts. I just heard someone on espn mentioning Portland could use him.
CBAreject
Bargnani will be gone. O'Bryant? Please, God, don't let us take O'Bryant so high. Williams? We'd be reaching for Marcus or Shelden here. I would take Roy 5th. Marcus Williams would be OK, but I think we'd be reaching. Shelden is a blue-chipper, and I won't cry if we reach for him. Admin capstone21 Posted May 24, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 I think TO will take Bargnani. They already have Bosh and Villineuva. Bargnani is the player they are wanting. They have even been telling him to say he only will sign with TO. Chi will take Aldridge to lineup with Chandler. Nice combo if u ask me. Charlotte is interesting. They have Okafor and May. I bet they will look to trade down since Thomas is a PF too or they take Morrison. Portland whoever is left over from the big 4. That will leave us with ROy. I like the idea of taking Roy. He would fit our system nicely with JJ. He is like a younger JIm Jackson. We still won't have our point guard but Roy is a great pick.
WraithSentinel
They can take the PG they need or take Brandon Roy. Who would appear to be a great compliment to JJ.
KB21
If the draft falls the way I believe it will, Roy will be the best player on the board.
Plastic Man
if roy is gone how bout foye? he's a pg capable of defending the 1.
CBAreject
Roy = Jim Jackson? For a season of losing we get Jim Jackson? I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Admin capstone21 Posted May 24, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 I would then actually rather M. WIlliams. True point guard...right fit for team.
exodus
Roy plays the same sport as Jim Jackson but other than that they have nothing in common.

Its a guard or a reach for a big....unless of course he trades down or up.
Admin capstone21 Posted May 24, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 I watched a lot of his games at Ohio State since I got a lot of Big Ten games back in the 80s early 90s. The way he played back then is a lot like Roy. His game changed a lot when he came to the Mavs since he was playing with Kidd.
Plastic Man
i prefer marcus too i just threw foye's name out there to get some opinions. i know there's not too many marcus fans on this board.
