Don't we still need a point guard??

Yes but you now have an incredible core in a city that players love to live in, and you have childress-marvin-shelden-smith-stoudamire-Lue as trading chips to get a young PG. Obviously you don't want to give Smith up but you can hopefully find a PG somewhere for chill or even marvin. A talent of Stoudamire's caliber is worth staying in that situation for. An unproven guy like Horford who did ok in college is not.

For now Speedy/Lue can hold it down.

No. It means we STILL must address the PG problem.

Someone would have to go - Depending on who we traded

for would determine the cost - Will be high for a

really good one.

They just don't give away those great ones, you know.

If we get Amare does that mean that our pg situation remains the same minus Anthony Johnson-who was probably our best pg.

We have holes at C and PG. The Amare trade would fix one hole, but not both. It certainly isn't an argument for not doing it!

We will still need a PG, but remember the Hawks are in the running for the Spanish PG. He is a free agent so if we can clear some cap room he may fix our problem. (Lue,Speedy,AJ?? and ??Papaloukis??). BK needs to get Phoenix to sacrifice our pick from next year but I shouldn't be greedy.
