They've already got Tyronne Lue and Anthony Johnson. Speedy plays D, but fits the other categories. Seriously, the Hawks don't need Bibby or any other PG for that matters. The biggest thing they're lacking right now is a defensive "True" center. If they don't get one, this team is still going to be pretty good. If they do get one, this team could be really good. If we can get a center we'd be championchip caliber: PG: Mike Bibby SG: Joe Johnson SF: Josh Smith PF: Marvin Williams C: Al Hordord 'nuff said. He is clearly on decline if you even watched him last year which it appears you haven't. His contract is OUTRAGEOUS to boot! Bibby is a washed up bum now dude. Get a clue son! If you guys remember when he was in Vancouver he was a pass first guy. The reason his assists are always low is because Sacto runs that motion offense where the assists and shots are spread around. They have 4 guys with 3 assists or more game and it's been that way since the 99-00 season. Compare 4 guys with 3 or more assists a game to Phoenix's 3 guys (and they play at a much faster pace so they get more possessions). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also, Bibby is a PG for a ahlf court offense, not a run and shoot offense, which is what the Hawks should be using. Bibby's career FG% is not bad for a PG and 3 pt shooter (which he is) it is over 44%. He shot badly last year due to a major wrist injury he suffered a few weeks before the start of the season. He tried to be a gamer by coming back a projected two to three weeks early from the injury and it cost his shooting all year. All that being said Bibby is not worth that kind of money.
