okay, b4 u guys call me crazy... hear me out

POSITIVES - we took a gamble with Isaiah Rider and Jim Jackson and it didnt work towards our favor. when this happens, shouldnt we take another risk to try to makeup for it? or should we just stay pat and learn from our lesson?

phil jackson took Dennis Rodman who played a key role w/ the bulls as the rebounder and defensive specialists. jackson was even willin to give Rider a try.

lets look at Davis' numbers.

SG 6-7, 195 lbs

20.2 ppg, .408 fg%, .360 3pointfg%, 4.8 rpg, 5.2 apg, 1.63 spg.

we do need help at that SG spot.

u cant deny the fact that this guy GOT GAME! our roster situation next year will most likely not upgrade (if anything downgrade with a loss of JT). c'mon, that INDY pick wont help us too much (most likely).

he did apologize about that fake TRIPLE-DOUBLE game.

his value is low

NEGATIVE- his value is low for a reason. coach has often taken him out of the game and never put him back. has been called selfish at times. is very capable of pulling another fake TRIPLE-DOUBLE. there is a possibility that he might have problems w/ other players.

- so what do u think? think about the roster we could have if we gave Cleveland BigDog.

PG- Terry, Dickau

SG- Davis, Glover??

SF- DJ, Newble

PF- Abdur-Rahim, Henderson

C- Ratliff, Mohammed

Cleveland stands a pretty good chance to get Labron James. If so, Ricky Davis is history.

What they would have is:

Illgauskas at C.

Boozer at PF.

Miles as Sf

James as SG

Wagner as PG...

What they would need is clarity. They have nice players but are weak at PF.

Here's what I would do.

Shareef for Boozer/R. Davis.

Big Z is what Shareef needs in a C.

James will definitely be the leader of that team.

Juanny is still growing but they would have a force.

Us..

Boozer is a good PF... Not in Reefs league but he rebounds and can score.

Ricky Davis is a scorer. Brash, Arrogant... But the kid can Score.

What would make me do it in a heartbeat is if we got the 3rd pick overall and were able to select Okafur.

Theo/Okafur/GRob/Davis/Terry.

Nonesense!

Ricky Davis is a tremendous athlete, but he plays no defense at all, has a bad attitude, and is a completely uncoachable player. These are all reasons why he didn't make it in Charlotte or Miami, and Miami could have used a young athletic player like Ricky Davis. Riley just wasn't going to put up with an uncoachable talent like Davis.

Glenn Robinson is currently in the poorest shooting year of his career, and he's still a MUCH better shooter than Davis. Come on! 40% shooter on FGs? The guy is taking 25 shots a game to get his 20 ppg average. He's not an efficient player at all.

To even think about trading Shareef Abdur-Rahim, who is one of the more efficient players in the league, for what will turn out to be Carlos Boozer is insane, IMO.

I wouldn't touch Ricky Davis with a 10 foot pole. His skills are vastly overrated, and he's soon going to be on his 4th team in 5 years for a reason.

If you are going to propose a Reef trade, at least get equal value for him in return.

As far as Cleveland's line up will go, DeJuan Wagner will not play point guard EVER in this league. Lebron James will be that team's point guard.
