DJ_Money
http://www.nba.com/schedules/2007_2008_gam...le/October.html We open @ home (Hooray!) vs. Dallas (Boo!) on Friday, Nov. 2nd. NBA Season starts on the 30th, Dallas' 1st game is @ Cleveland on the 31st. Running through the 1st month... Dallas @ Detroit @ New Jersey Phoenix @ Boston Washington Charlotte Seattle @ Milwaukee San Antonio (NBATV) @ Miami @ Minnesota @ Chicago Milwaukee New Orleans No extended West Coast trip in November, at least. Dallas/PHX/SA at home, wow. Looks like we don't head out West until late January. Denver/Seattle/Portland/Phoenix/LAC. 5 games in 7 days. Another trip in late Feb. to LAL/Sacto/GS/Utah/SA. ...and, as we've come to expect, no national TV. Makes no difference to me, but I know some care. Honestly with JJ being an all-star I thought we would get one. I guess Boston took it.
Dnice
A late west trip may help a little, I usually sigh when it comes up and the teams goes from around 4 games under .500 to 8 under seems like.
DJ_Money
Sorry, guys. I think this must have been an accidental leak on nba.com's part, because now they've taken that link above offline. nba.com/schedules was showing October 2007 a minute ago, too, but now they've switched back to October 2006. I wish I had of copied more of that down now...
gsuteke
even the biggest Hawks fan can't take much issue with me seeing an 0-6 start from that schudule.
DJ_Money
...and it's back! Found under another link... http://www.nba.com/hawks/schedule/results_2007.html (If you want to view another team, just change "hawks" to whatever team.) BHayley
Good work, DJ_Money. March and April look very doable on our part. I'll examine this schedule more later.
thesheedera
Gsu, that's possible, but it's also possible that a lot of strong teams will be rusty at the start of the season. We should be close to or above .500 for that first stretch of the season if we come out sharp.
BHayley
Out of those first 15 games, I see 7 or 8 that if we are completely healthy and playing with unity, that we can very well win. Then there's teams like Chicago and Miami who we did everything but beat this year (we played very well against both teams), and we have played well against PHX at home too. STAY HEALTHY AND GET OFF TO A GOOD START THIS YEAR. GO HAWKS!
oiatlhawksfan
If we're still contending for the playoffs, the last month won't be so hard. Philly, Indiana, Ny are all beatable. Than Boston ,Orlando, and Toronto, will be resting players for the playoffs.
mg2005
Only one home game vs. Boston and not until April 12. That stinks!

oiatlhawksfan
Philly and Indiana will be tanking, by that time though. Boston will be resting their players, so That will be a very easy win.
Dexmethylphenidate
no TNT or ESPN games. Oh well.
gutz
That first month is rough. We could easily start out 0-5 against Dallas, Detroit, New Jersey, Phoenix and Boston. They are all playoff teams and 4 are NBA Finals Contenders.
Dexmethylphenidate
Well if we're ready for the next step we have to beat the best of them. Besides, It's good to get the tough part of the schedule out of the way when we're all healthy in the beginning. And in turns, we'll get to see how good the Hawks are when injured free. 5694number3
Good news for all you "Ugly Betty" fans - for at least the second year in a row, the Hawks don't play on Thursday night at all. I know that's TNT's doubleheader night, but sometimes they do schedule more than 2 games those nights. The Hawks can't even get on the untelevised games. Undefeated on Thursdays! DJ_Money
Ugly Betty = Bad. The Office = Good. Glad the Hawks won't be cutting into the Michael Scott Power (Half) Hour.
pimp
That first month could be ugly.. Maybe ugly enough to get Woody fired.
