If the Hawks play well they can beat anyone. If they play poorly they can lose to anyone.

They are so unpredictable that i don't get into schedule watching that much.

That schedule scares me as much as playing 9 straight games with Seattle. I rather see us playing good teams because I know we'll show up.

to/char/wash/miami/indiana

so that would be 5-4, or .500 to end the 2007 portion of the season

we'll likely end up going 3-2 over those above 5 games and then 2-2 against the tough teams (orl/det/utah/dal)

I agree with others. None of those games are obvious win-losses for me.

That Toronto game is gonne be real entertaining. There's just something about how these teams match up that made for some entertaining bball last year.

Bosh vs. Smoove is gonna be epic.

Agreed! I would definitely be ecstatic if they could pull .500 or better.

I hope I'm wrong and we win more but I see us winning the game we are favorite and will lose the others. This team still have not shown me enough when it comes to showing up for the big games. Dallas and the Suns were good games. To me we do not dictate the tempo. We let other teams dictate the tempo. The reason why we won the Dallas and Suns game is because they play up tempo games. That is our strength. If we play a team like Detroit... they play a slower tempo and in games like that is when we need to learn how to turn the tempo up but we don't.

So 2 wins and 3 losses, with 4 swing games that we'd probably split 50-50 playing the way we've been playing. I think if we end the month (year) at 13-15 we should be "okay" with it. Not excited, not disappointed, still on a decent pace for a solid season.

If we can win 3 of those swing games and get to .500 (14-14)I think there would even be a little sense of accomplishment, and we'd have decent momentum heading into the new year.

If we could pull off all 4 swing games I'd be pretty close to ecstatic at 15-13. There's that much difference between 13-15 and 15-13, just two games that would take me from feeling "okay" to ecstatic. That's winning the games you're supposed to win and some of the ones you're not. That would be a great sign of a consistent team making a charge.

In reality I kind expect us to drop one of the should wins, split the swing games, and yank a shocker out of nowhere. With that we'd be at 13-15 with the confidence of a really big win and a couple really good ones, but with the doubt in our minds about the easy one that got away and the couple that we could have won with better play.

13-15 means we're better than we were, but we still have a long way to go.

good gods, that is a brutal schedule..that makes those last two wins that much more important...this stretch will tell us where we're at.

Doesn't look that tough. But they need to take it one at a time. Try to win the next game rather than worry about the game after next.

I think the Utah game is the only lock loss.

We probably will not beat Orlando or Detroit, but could.

Everybody else we can beat.

Miami and Indiana SHOULD be easy wins. Charlotte, Toronto, and Washington shouldn't be very tough without Arenas.

Dallas, Detroit and Utah are the only true tests, and I think we'll beat at least one of them. But seriously, how many times do we have to play Detroit this year? Damn!

And I'm still not on the Orlando bandwagon yet. We've always played well against them, and we always get tons of offensive rebounds against them. I'm just not convinced that they are much better than last year, they also started hot last year too.

We could beat San Antonio on the road on the second night of a back to back and turn right around and lose to MIN or SEA at home 3 days later. We are not good enough to call ANY team a sure win but we are good enough to beat ANY team on a given night.

That Utah game seems like a sure loss. Scorers everywhere and a good fundamental team with a great PG. Could get ugly.

I predict a 3-6 record in these 9 games. I can see wins over Toronto, Miami, and Charlotte.

I think they are much better than last year.

They didn't have a scorer like R-Lewis last year, and D12

is playing on MVP level right now.Also, with all the attention that Howard and Lewis are getting, it's allowing Turkoglo to score 18ppg.
