KB21
And I think this is a still photo that didn't catch him at his highest point. It's rumored that he can touch the top of the backboard.
Traceman
have any idea. Most reports say that he deosn't do anything very well. I have seen a lot of great athletes who are terrible players because they have no game whatsoever.

cyman3
"It's rumored that he can touch the top of the backboard." - didnt Johnson do that during his workout with the hawks a few years back?
Premium Member Diesel Posted June 21, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 21, 2003 DJ jumped 12 1/2 feet for the Hawks... What that converts to in INCHES is? Hard to say without knowing DJ's wingspan. But Roughly... 150 inches - 81 - 40.5 = 28.5 inches off the ground. That's 2 1/3 feet off the ground. Dj was impressive. KB21
I've seen him play, and the only thing that I don't think he does that well is shoot the ball. He's a terrific passer out of the post. He can handle the ball. He's a terrific defender who blocks a lot of shots. He just doesn't shoot the ball well. TJ_Swann
Exactly! I remember a kid by the name of Daryl Barnes who was a McDonalds All American who played(smile) for Ga.Tech during the Lethal Weapon 3 days. He was 6'7" with mad hops when he came to Tech. Never got off the bench hardly his whole 4 years there. He could jump, block shots, rebound but couldn't shoot, dribble. He also was skinny like Outlaw.
